Detroit: Become Human Has Crossed 15 Million Units Sold

Quantic Dream revealed that Detroit: Become Human has now sold over 15 million copies as of 2026.

I remember when Detroit: Become Human first came out in 2018 – it was amazing! Everyone loved how it felt like you were watching a movie and how your choices actually mattered. I was so excited to hear that it just hit 1 million copies sold, and it seems a big Steam sale really helped get it there. That’s a huge achievement for the game!

Detroit: Become Human Reaches Massive Sales Milestone in 2026

Okay, so I just saw this news – Detroit: Become Human has officially sold 15 million copies worldwide! It’s awesome to see the game doing so well. Apparently, it’s been steadily growing in popularity since 2020. They sold 5 million back then, and then another 6 million over the next five years. But 2025 was HUGE – they moved 4 million copies just in that year, pushing the total to 15 million by January 2026. That’s a lot of people making choices in Detroit!

About Detroit: Become Human

Detroit: Become Human is set in a futuristic 2038 where incredibly realistic androids are common. You experience the story through the eyes of three different androids, each facing their own challenges and difficult choices. What makes the game unique is how much your decisions matter – they affect not only the androids’ individual paths, but also the fate of Detroit itself. With countless choices and many different endings, every player’s experience will be unique, as even small decisions can dramatically change the story.

Quantic Dream announced that development on Star Wars Eclipse is still underway, and they’re also working on a new, unannounced game.
