Aspyr officially announced the delay in a public statement. They explained the decision was based on feedback from the gaming community, and that they need more time to improve the game and ensure it meets player expectations.
So, the studio just announced the game is delayed, but they didn’t say when it’ll actually come out. They just said they’ll let us know more when they have something to share. Honestly, with how close we were to the original launch date, I’m really hoping this isn’t a huge setback and we don’t have to wait forever!
To make matters even more unclear, Aspyr announced that everyone who pre-ordered the game will receive a full refund. This has led fans to wonder about the game’s current development and whether the project will continue at all. It seems the Deus Ex series keeps facing problems, and unfortunately, there’s no sign of things improving soon.
