The second Expedition for ARC Raiders is starting soon, and players who want to participate in a new adventure from Speranza should begin getting ready now. Expeditions are a way to reset your character after reaching the maximum level of 75, or even if you just want a fresh start, and earn unique rewards. While not everyone will want to take part, players who didn’t join the first Expedition in December shouldn’t miss this opportunity.
On February 25th, players of ARC Raiders can start getting ready for the second expedition, which launches on March 1st. To participate, players need to gather specific items to complete each stage of the Expedition Project. It’s also beneficial to increase the value of your in-game storage before the expedition to earn permanent skill point rewards for reaching a certain storage value.

Once players complete the requirements for Expedition 2 in ARC Raiders, they should concentrate on improving the value of their stash. Good news – it now takes less stash value to unlock permanent skill points after finishing the Expedition.
Reduced Stash Value Requirements for ARC Raiders’ Second Expedition
Based on player feedback from the first ARC Raiders Expedition, Embark is making it easier to earn permanent skill points. They’ve lowered the amount of in-game currency needed from 5 million Coins (1 million per skill point) to 3 million Coins (600k per skill point). Reaching 3 million Coins during an Expedition will now reward players with 5 permanent skill points for their new character. This change should make earning these points more achievable, especially for players who were close to the previous goal.
ARC Raiders’ Catch Up Mechanic
Image via Embark Studios The main reason players who didn’t participate in the first ARC Raiders Expedition should join the second is a new “Catch Up” feature. This lets players earn the skill points they missed during the first Expedition. For every 300,000 Coins added to their in-game stash, they’ll receive one of the five skill points previously awarded. While it will take 3 million Coins to earn the skill points for Expedition 2, and another 1.5 million to get all five Catch Up skill points, dedicated players can effectively get all the benefits of the first Expedition even if they couldn’t participate then.

Now is the Best Time for ARC Raiders Players to Go on an Expedition
The new Catch Up feature is a big benefit for players of ARC Raiders who couldn’t or didn’t join the initial Expedition. The game’s Expedition system previously made players feel like they’d fall behind if they didn’t participate, as even small permanent upgrades could significantly impact their character. Now, the Catch Up feature eases those concerns, letting players rejoin without feeling at a disadvantage.
Okay, so I’m hearing that even if I’m a new player jumping into this ARC Raiders Expedition, I won’t get exactly the same benefits as someone who’s done it before. But honestly, it’s still totally worth starting a new character for this Expedition! Those first-time player boosts are really helpful for getting a good start and setting me up for better rewards down the line. Plus, you get cool, unique cosmetics, and it sounds like those will get even better the more Expeditions I do. So yeah, I’m in!
