How to Unlock Agent Skills in Digimon Story Time Stranger

You won’t be able to use the Agent Skills feature in the Digimon Story: Time Stranger menu until you finish the ‘Time Stranger’ main story quest. Although it seems like something you unlock later in the game, it actually becomes available fairly early on – shortly after completing the ‘Reunions Bring Trouble’ mission where you defeat Raremon.
As soon as I jumped into the next quest, Resonating Thoughts, I got a call from the Operator. They filled me in on everything I needed to know about Agent Skills – super helpful!
When you access the Agent Skills menu, you can use Anomaly Points to learn new abilities for both yourself and your Digimon partners. You earn Anomaly Points by finishing missions as you advance the main storyline, and you can also obtain them by completing optional side missions.
You can develop your character through five distinct skill trees – called Agent Skills – each providing unique ways to upgrade your abilities.

To help your Digimon evolve in Digimon Story: Time Stranger, you’ll need to increase your Agent Rank. Each evolution has specific requirements, and some will need you to reach a particular rank level.
To improve your Agent Rank, simply use the Anomaly Points you’ve earned to unlock new Agent Skills. It doesn’t cost much at first – only 10 points are needed to reach Rank 2. However, the cost increases as you advance. For instance, reaching Rank 3 requires 150 Anomaly Points.
