Diglett Spotlight Hour Guide

Diglett Spotlight Hour Guide

As a dedicated Pokémon GO trainer with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but get excited whenever Niantic announces a Spotlight Hour event. These weekly hour-long events, which take place every Tuesday from 6 pm to 7 pm local time, are a great way for trainers like me to catch rare and exciting Pokémon with special bonuses.

Each Tuesday between 6 and 7 PM local time, Niantic makes a specific Pokemon more prevalent in the wild for trainers to discover. These occurrences are named Spotlight Hours. Keep in mind that these events transpire on a weekly basis but last for just an hour, so don’t miss out!

During the Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO on July 23, the star attraction will be a Ground-type Pokemon from the Kanto region named Diglett. An added bonus for the hour will be the Alolan variant of Diglett. This version of Diglett can be distinguished from its original form by three small hairs on its head and its unique typing as both Steel and Ground types.

In our introduction, we noted that Diglett and Alolan Diglett will appear more frequently during the July 23 Spotlight Hour in Pokemon GO, which runs from 6 pm to 7 pm in your local time zone. The exciting perk for this event is that there will be a doubled experience reward when evolving Pokemon.

As a long-time Pokémon trainer with countless hours spent catching and training my beloved digital creatures, I can attest to the excitement of discovering new evolution methods. This latest tidbit about Diglett and its Alolan counterpart evolving into Dugtrio is no exception.

As a dedicated Pokémon Go player, I’ve discovered an effective trick to catch more Candy during Spotlight Hours. By using Pinap Berries on Diglett before capturing it with a Poké Ball, you can earn extra Candy. And here’s another tip: place a Lure Module on a nearby PokeStop. This will draw more Pokémon to the area for 30 minutes, making it an ideal spot for many trainers. Consequently, you’ll have a higher chance of encountering Diglett and other Pokémon, resulting in a bountiful Candy harvest.

Pokemon GO: Can Diglett Be Shiny?

For those questioning if Diglett and Alolan Diglett have shiny forms in Pokemon GO, the response is affirmative. However, keep in mind that these variants are less common than their normal counterparts. To increase your chances of encountering a shiny Diglett or Alolan Diglett, participate in the Diglett Spotlight Hour events.

How to Tell if Diglett is Shiny

In addition to noticing a difference in color, identifying a Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon GO can be accomplished by looking for a tiny glittering symbol over the creature’s CP value, as illustrated in the following image featuring Swablu.
