Disney’s Dreamlight Valley has unveiled its summer agenda with the upcoming release of Mysteries of Skull Rock, set for June 18th. 2025’s first half has seen two significant expansions for the charming Disney-themed life simulation game, introducing beloved characters. In February, Aladdin and Jasmine made their entrance with the Tales of Agrabah update, and in April, Alice and the Cheshire Cat joined in with the Wonderland Whimsy expansion.
It’s been hinted that Peter Pan is set to join the cast of Disney Dreamlight Valley as a permanent villager in the upcoming Mysteries of Skull Rock update. This expansion will offer players the chance to aid Peter in assembling a new gang of Lost Boys, suggesting possible future recruits like Vanellope, Mike Wazowski, WALL-E, and Donald Duck, who are shown standing near a hand-drawn recruitment poster. The update will also introduce the Adventures in Neverland Star Path, which features pirate and mermaid-themed clothing and accessories, as well as a Special Bundle that includes Max, Ariel’s adorable canine companion, who is equipped with treasure-hunting abilities.

In the Mysteries of Skull Rock, it’s not Peter Pan who initiates the story first, but a past adversary from Disney Dreamlight Valley, The Forgotten. This character will start off the narrative, allowing players to assign a name to them, increase Friendship Levels by interacting with them, and unlock hangout spots. Similarly, other characters without predefined names will also receive updates, enabling players to name them, boost Friendship Levels, and earn new rewards.
On July 9th, the second installment of Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Storybook Vale expansion arrives, featuring Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty making her return and introducing a new villager named Aurora. This heroic character will significantly impact the storyline. Additionally, Storybook Vale Part 2 includes fresh hues for Snippets and new Puzzling Tales, which players can finish for incentives. Moreover, a roadmap for the remainder of 2025 has been unveiled, hinting at an Inside Out-themed update during late summer, a Beauty and the Beast-themed update in the fall, and a Cinderella-themed update for winter.
