Bring Olaf His Fun Facts Plus Listen To Olaf And The Lorekeeper Talking

After chatting with Anna, snap some pictures of items near The Bind that could catch Olaf’s attention: various objects or sights.

The Owls – take a picture of three different Owls around The Bind.

You might find yourself returning at various times or even on different days to collect all the shots you require, since each owl critter maintains its own distinct routine in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

If you’ve already made friends with at least one owl previously, the objective will automatically be checked off and you can proceed to speak with Olaf again for your next task.

Decorate The Bind With An Autumn Mage Scarecrow

Olaf is asking you to adorn The Bind with a spooky scarecrow themed around an Autumn Mage. If you don’t have one yet, you can create one using your crafting table which is close to your house. To assemble an Autumn Mage Scarecrow, here are the items required:

10 Petrified Wood
5 Soil
1 Sorcerer Hat Hermit Crab
5 Trumpet Snails
10 Pine Coins

Luckily, you can procure all the necessary crafting materials from ‘The Bind‘ itself. If you run out of ‘Petrified Wood‘, you can mine rock nodes not only around ‘The Bind‘ but also in ‘Everafter‘. Additionally, mining small rocks within ‘The Library of Lore‘ will yield more ‘Petrified Wood‘. As for ‘Pine Cones‘, they are likely to be found near large trees scattered around ‘The Bind‘. Lastly, you can obtain ‘Soil ‘ by simply digging up the ground in this area.

However, the trickiest item on the list is Trumpet Snails. While you can find them typically near the shoreline of The Bind, they can take a long time to spawn, so you might need to keep checking back to grab at least five. They also can spawn inland, so be sure to check all around The Bind for this elusive ingredient. Once you’ve got everything you need, craft and place the Autumn Mage Scarecrow using the Furniture menu anywhere you like in The Bind.

Return To Olaf (A Hoot And A Half Quest Rewards)
