Disney Dreamlight Valley: How To Dig For Pottery Material

As a seasoned gamer with over a decade of digging holes in various virtual worlds, I can confidently say that the quest to dig for pottery material in Disney Dreamlight Valley is a task I’ve grown quite fond of. It’s not every day you get to unearth clay lumps and contribute to the Night Show Star Path.

In the latest update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, titled Jungle Getaway, a new Star Path called The Night Show has been added. Similar to previous Star Paths, The Night Show Star Path offers a series of tasks in exchange for tokens and rewards themed around rock shows. However, some of the tasks associated with Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Star Path can be challenging to understand due to the variety of items that can be foraged or collected within the game. When you come across this task, you may find yourself questioning how to excavate pottery materials, even with the Hourglass Royal Tool at your disposal, which is capable of unearthing various objects.

Uncovering the enigmatic essence of pottery materials in Disney Dreamlight Valley might appear puzzling, but once you’re familiar with their specific locations and characteristics, it becomes an easily achievable task. These elusive elements play a crucial role as versatile crafting resources across various recipes within the game.

How To Dig For Pottery Material In Disney Dreamlight Valley (Night Show Star Path Duty)

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll want to search for a resource called “clay,” which is what the game refers to as ‘pottery material.’ You can uncover this clay by using your Royal Shovel to dig up the ground in specific biomes within Disney Dreamlight Valley.

  • Forgotten Lands
  • Glade of Trust
  • Sunlit Plateau

To complete your assigned Star Path duty involving clay, you should aim to find approximately 30 pieces. Lucky for you, when you unearth what appears to be a single muddy clump, it often yields 2 or 3 pieces of clay. This means you can probably gather around 15 to 20 clumps to finish this task, making the clay excavation process quite swift on the Star Path. If you decide to work with a digging partner or use Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Miracle Shovel Polish, you could expedite the process even further by potentially increasing the amount of clay found at each dig site. Additionally, it’s advisable to try digging in various locations within a biome for better chances of finding clay, instead of focusing on the same spots.

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, while excavating for clay, you might stumble upon other items initially like Gold Star Coins and Soil. Yet, clay can be discovered across various regions such as the Glade of Trust, Forgotten Lands, or Sunlit Plateau. This means you don’t have to dig in any specific location to find it.

After wrapping up my archaeological expedition for pottery, I snagged a cool 15 tokens as my reward! These bad boys can be used to nab some sweet goodies from the Night Show Star Path Rewards menu, like the Fantasia Magical Loungefly Backpack for just 10 tokens or the Punky Braids hairstyle for the same amount. Plus, you could save some for future, pricier items. Oh, and don’t forget about using the clay I unearthed in various crafting recipes, like bricks in Disney Dreamlight Valley and beyond!
