The sheer variety of dishes to create keeps me coming back for more. However, before we could dabble in the culinary delights of this enchanting world, we needed a trusty stove – a humble yet essential tool in our kitchen arsenal.
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, a 2022 life sim by Gameloft, cooking is a fundamental aspect. This game offers over 300 distinct recipes, ensuring that you’ll frequently discover new dishes to prepare.
But to whip up these tasty meals, players will need to get a stove first. If you’re not sure how to get one, keep reading this guide to find out.
How To Get A Stove In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Players can expect to gain access to the stove rather swiftly in the game, similar to how one acquires the Royal Tools. The opportunity to secure it comes within Mickey’s narrative quest, known as Foodception. This quest serves as an introduction to cooking mechanics within the game. In this particular storyline, Mickey requests that the player prepare a Fruit Salad and Crackers, as he is missing Minnie. Interestingly enough, you would have already acquired the recipe for Fruit Salad from his previous ‘Mickey’s Memories’ quest. Now, Mickey provides you with Wheat Seeds and a Recipe Book to aid you in creating the Crackers.
To start off, I’ll be using my trusty Royal Shovel to carve out three little spots in the ground. Then, I’ll drop some Wheat Seeds into these holes. After that, it’s time to consult my recipe book to find out what ingredients I need for baking some Crackers. Finally, good old Mickey will remind me to water those seeds with my Royal Watering Can, helping them grow nice and strong.
After you’ve watered the wheat seeds, bring them back to Mickey. He’ll then task you with collecting all the ingredients for a fruit salad and crackers. Once you’ve gathered those items, head to your house to meet Mickey. In return, he’ll provide you with a White Stove for Cooking. After this stove becomes part of your home furnishings, feel free to place it wherever you like within your living space, and you’re all set!
If you need more than one stove, you can purchase another from Scrooge McDuck’s Shop. His store is located in the Plaza, close to the water fountain. A stove costs 1,380 Star Coins at this shop. The stock gets refreshed every day at 8:00 AM UTC / 4:00 AM EST / 1:00 AM PST, so if it’s not available, be sure to check back later.
