Star Sapphires can be mined from the rocks along the walls of the Wild Woods, Teapot Falls, the Fallen Fortress, and the Beanstalk Marshes. You also have a chance of getting other gems like Pure Ice whenver you are mining in these biomes. If you see a rock with crystals sticking out of it, you are guaranteed to get a gem. If you are looking to get more Star Sapphires, keep an eye out for crystals sticking out of the rocks that are dark blue.
When you’re out searching for Star Sapphires, it might be wise to bring a character who specializes in mining with you. This way, when a Star Sapphire appears, you’ll have a better chance at getting more, especially if your companion’s mining role is at level 10. Additionally, there’s a rare, shimmering version of the Star Sapphire too, so it wouldn’t hurt to collect some for potential future use.
