The official plan for updates to Disney Dreamlight Valley through 2026 was first shared in October 2025. It details the addition of several popular characters and franchises that players have been asking for. Kicking off the year, the classic Lady and the Tramp will be added to the game “early” in 2026. Following that, Pocahontas—a sometimes debated but beloved character—will arrive in the spring. Finally, Hercules, inspired by Greek mythology, is scheduled to join Disney Dreamlight Valley in Summer 2026. Best of all, Lady and the Tramp, Pocahontas, and Hercules will all be available as free updates, letting all players experience these iconic Disney characters.

While Disney hasn’t officially confirmed which franchises are coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley, the recent teaser images strongly suggest Lady and the Tramp, Hercules, and Pocahontas. The spaghetti dinner clearly references Lady and the Tramp, and a statue of Phil from Hercules is a pretty obvious hint. Even more casual Disney fans would likely recognize Pocahontas’ necklace, which, along with a raccoon, points to her friend Meeko. It’s still unconfirmed if the characters themselves will appear in the game, but players are hoping for even more friends to join the Valley!
