As a seasoned Dreamlight Valley resident and a lover of all things Disney, I must say that Little Louis’s Big Break was a delightful journey! This quest, part of the heartwarming Tiana saga, took me on an adventure through the beautiful Glade of Trust, where I gathered resources and crafted homes for my new scaly friend.
In the latest update of Disney Dreamlight Valley, known as Dapper Delights, Louis the Little Frog takes center stage in Tiana’s second friendship mission. Once you have unlocked Tiana and achieved friendship level four with her, you can begin this adventure to free Louis who has been captured by Mother Gothel following his mischief in her garden.
In the adventure titled “Little Louis’s Big Break“, there are multiple stages, some of which may prove challenging, particularly when setting up fencing for Mother Gothel’s garden. This journey offers a wealth of items to craft, making it quite extensive in terms of crafting and gardening activities. If everything proceeds smoothly, it’s a relatively swift and beneficial quest to finish, especially if your goal is to unlock all of Tiana’s friendship missions.
Speak With Tiana & Mother Gothel In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To initiate “Little Louis’s Big Break,” first, help Tiana progress through her friendship quest “Back from the Bayou” to level two. This will also open Tiana’s restaurant and food stand. Upon reaching level four of your relationship with Tiana (by offering gifts), you can access the “Little Louis’s Big Break” mission. The adventure begins with Tiana leading you to the Glade of Trust in search of her new friend, Louis, a charming crocodile. However, Louis is missing, so you must venture into Mother Gothel’s house hidden within the Willow Tree to uncover his whereabouts. Regrettably, you find that Mother Gothel has kept Louis captive in a cage inside her home.
Rebuild Mother Gothel’s Garden
Mother Gothel consents to release Louis if you regrow and restructure her garden. Luckily, you don’t have to fret about restoring the original one; instead, you can create a new one entirely. But first, you must have Mother Gothel released, naturally. To start, you need to purchase and plant these seeds:
- x10 Spinach
- X10 Rice
- x10 Okra
Luckily, you purchase all the mentioned seeds from Goofy’s booth situated in the ‘Glade of Trust’, a region where occasionally, Okra seeds may be discovered by digging up or finding them for free. After acquiring the seeds, it’s time to sow them, and this can be done anywhere within the Glade of Trust, like near the Willow Tree as shown in the image below.
Once you’ve filled all the holes with your spade and sown the seeds, it’s time for you to create and assemble a white picket fence at a workstation, then position it anywhere surrounding them.
In Little Louis’s Big Break adventure, feel free to scatter the white picket fence around without worrying about precision or fully enclosing every crop. The essential thing is that you select and position all the fence pieces from the items menu . Once you do this, you’ll finish the objective. Just remember, if your biome becomes cluttered with too many objects, you might need to clear some space before adding new ones.
You can craft a white picket fence from the materials below:
- x48 white picket fence made from softwood, with 5 pieces of softwood making three white picket fences.
Have a chat with Mother Gothel about her feelings towards the garden, and she hands you a golden key as a response. Use this key to open Louis’s enclosure within the Willow Tree, then engage with the cage to complete the action.
Gather Materials For Little Louis’ New House
It’s clear that once freed, small Louis quickly darts away. Later, he returns to speak with Tiana who proposes building him a cozy home to lift his spirits. While Tiana provides some supplies for construction, you might need to gather more materials yourself. The instructions and locations for all the necessary items to build a Bayou Dwelling are outlined below:
- x15 Hardwood – found in the Glade of Trust, Forest of Valor, and Frosted Heights
- x5 Blue Marsh Milkweed – the Glade of Trust
- x1 Orange & Red Milk Marshweed – the Glade of Trust
- x10 Clay – digging in the Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, or the Forgotten Lands
- x1 Emerald – mining in the Glade of Trust or the Forest of Valor
Craft A Bayou Companion Home In Disney Dreamlight Valley
In the concluding stage of Little Louis’s Big Break, he needs to create his own residence. Once crafted at a workstation, position the “Bayou Companion Home” anywhere you prefer in the “Glade of Trust” by selecting it from the furniture menu again (as shown below).
After putting Louis’ new house in place, find out if Tiana is satisfied with it to finish off the Little Louis’ Grand Adventure mission.
To advance to the next mission, make sure your relationship with Tiana reaches level seven and that you have sufficiently advanced in the friendship tasks involving Woody.
