Gameloft has released details about the update coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley on October 1st. The popular life simulation game launched in 2023 and was well-received by critics, even winning several awards. Almost two years later, Disney Dreamlight Valley still has a strong community of players, which Gameloft maintains through consistent new content, competitions, and collaborations.
The game has received some great updates lately. In August, Disney Dreamlight Valley introduced a new Companion: a pink dragon inspired by Eastern designs and decorated with cherry blossoms. This Companion was chosen by players in the game’s community. Also in August, a new realm based on the Disney Pixar film Inside Out was added, bringing with it the characters Joy and Sadness.
Disney Dreamlight Valley October Update Returns to Beastâs Castle
I’m so excited for the next update to Disney Dreamlight Valley, coming out on October 1st! It’s taking us back to Beastâs Castle, which is perfect timing for spooky season. Apparently, Cogsworth and Lumiere are trying to figure out what’s causing some strange things to happen there, and we get to help them! Once we solve the mystery, they’ll even come back to our Valley with us. But the patch notes for the October 1 Disney Dreamlight Valley update show thereâs a *lot* more cool stuff coming, so I can’t wait!
Continuing the spooky spirit, the Premium Shop is getting a new friend, the Witchy Kitty, and a Halloween Castle Skin to give your Dream Castle a makeover. The popular Trick or Treat event returns from October 15th to 31st, and The Haunted Floating Festival will be available in your Valley from October 22nd to November 11th, offering lots of puzzles to enjoy. Plus, the October update includes new poses for Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s photo mode, as well as some improvements to make the game even better. As always, weâve also included bug fixes to enhance your overall experience.
Okay, so I’m super excited because Disney Dreamlight Valley is coming to Xbox Game Pass on October 1st! That means as a subscriber, I can finally check it out without having to buy it. It’s awesome that it’s available on pretty much everything *except* the Nintendo Switch 2 – looks like we’ll have to wait until 2026 for it on that console!
Besides the Halloween-themed events and new content, players should watch for the complete announcement of Disney Dreamlight Valleyâs new Wishblossom Ranch DLC on October 15th. This exciting expansion comes out in November and will challenge players to rebuild the ranch, and it will also introduce horses that players can ride and care for. Looking ahead to the holidays, the developers have hinted that Cinderella will be added in Winter 2025.
