The riddles in this path have been both challenging and exciting, especially the one about ‘Chatting with a Villager from Motunui’. Similar to previous Star Paths, it’s filled with captivating puzzles for you to solve. One such puzzle involves having a conversation with a Motunui villager.
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll encounter approximately thirty enchanting Disney and Pixar characters. However, identifying who to interact with can be quite a challenge, especially when all you have is the vague clue that this particular character hails from the stunning tropical island of Motunui. To help you out, here’s how to engage in conversation with a Motunui villager in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Chat With the Villager From Motunui in Disney Dreamlight Valley
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, the resident of Motunui village is actually the adventurous young girl named Moana. She’s the beloved daughter of the village chief and lives there with her loving family. Additionally, Moana has a sailing companion named Maui by her side. To finish this Star Path assignment, players must engage in two daily conversations with Moana.
First, find Moana by opening the map and fast-traveling to her location. Simply interact and talk to her once you find her. Unlike some other duties that require you to hang out with a character for a certain amount of time, talking to a villager hardly takes a minute. However, Dreamers will need to do this for two days to complete the task and collect the reward.
The day after your initial conversation with Moana, have another chat with her following the same process. Finishing this interaction will grant you a total of 15 Magnolia Tokens.
To get started on your Star Path assignment, first, unlock Moana by visiting her realm in the Dream Castle, which requires a fee of 3,000 Dreamlight. After that, invite the adorable explorer to Dreamlight Valley by finishing her “How Far You’ll Go” quest. This quest initiates following the completion of “The Great Maui” mission within Moana’s realm. If you haven’t tackled this quest yet, feel free to use this guide to help you through it now.
After you manage to gain access to Moana as a playable character, you’re able to embark on her friendship missions to strengthen your bond with her. Here’s a look at what those tasks entail:
- Fixing the Boat (Level 2)
- Peacemakers (Level 4)
- The Remembering (Level 6)
- The Search for Pua (Level 8)
- The Ceremony (Level 10)
In the same vein as other residents of Dreamlight Valley, Moana follows a consistent routine. You can encounter her between the hours of 2 AM and 8 PM, typically at venues such as Chez Remy or Scrooge McDuck’s shop. However, please note that she observes a rest period from 10 PM to 12 AM. Consequently, during this timeframe, you won’t be able to engage in conversation with her.
