As a seasoned gamer with years of Disney Dreamlight Valley under my belt, I can confidently say that the upcoming 1.12 update is shaping up to be a game-changer. The redesign of Belle’s visuals is long overdue and much appreciated, considering her initial introduction left many of us wanting more.
Enthusiasts of Disney Dreamlight Valley have recently uncovered that Belle from Beauty and the Beast will receive updated appearances in the game with the upcoming 1.12 update. The next installment for Disney Dreamlight Valley is slated for August 21, offering Tiana as a fresh character, along with a new Star Path.
In Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Update 1.7.0, which was released in September 2023, both Belle and the Beast were introduced. Belle had been highly anticipated within the game, but her arrival didn’t meet everyone’s expectations when she eventually joined. The reason for this dissatisfaction among fans is that some players found Belle’s design to be unimpressive.
Recently, a player named WandAustin in Disney Dreamlight Valley noticed an updated version of Belle in Gameloft’s most recent Developer Update video. This suggests that Belle’s character design will be revamped during the next update. In their post, WandAustin acknowledges that the community’s persistence has yielded results, as they compared the current Belle to the redesigned one shown in the video. The community appears to support this view, as WandAustin’s post garnered over 2,700 upvotes and attracted numerous comments praising the new look of Belle.
Gameloft Will Change Belle’s Appearance With Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Patch 1.12
I’m thrilled about the latest update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, titled “Dapper Delights,” coming August 21! This exciting addition brings Tiana from The Princess and the Frog into our Valley, complete with her magnificent palace restaurant. Inside the palace, you’ll get a sneak peek of the new Belle at 0:25 in the video. The update is inspired by the Roaring Twenties style and includes a fresh Star Path!
In early October, Gameloft unveiled the 2024 roadmap for Disney Dreamlight Valley – a journey I, as a fan, can hardly wait for! Apart from the upcoming update, we’re eagerly anticipating the final chapter of the game’s paid DLC “A Rift in Time,” the addition of Timon and Pumbaa from The Lion King as new characters, and plenty more exciting content down the line. There’s even a hint that Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas might join our Valley community later in 2024!
In addition to new characters, star paths, and a revamped Belle, Disney Dreamlight Valley has something else exciting in store: an upcoming significant customization update. A few days ago, Gameloft hinted at this major enhancement, suggesting that players will soon enjoy greater freedom and space to personalize their Valleys. However, it seems that this feature is still under development, so it’s unlikely it will be rolled out for gamers on August 21.
