This location will open up as your journey unfolds, and it’s important to note that Mickey’s house is situated here. Before embarking on the Ostown Phone Network quest, a gremlin you rescue from a safe will seek aid in recovering its wrench, which was taken by the phone. Be cautious not to agree when they suggest entering Mickey’s house to retrieve it; doing so would prevent the quest from being available.

After declining the gremlin’s proposal, proceed into Mickey’s house and head towards the telephone situated on the left side of the room. He will inform you that he needs another three power boxes activated before he relinquishes the gremlin’s wrench, so your task will be to locate them.

How To Find All Power Boxes in Epic Mickey: Rebrushed

For the current mission, all three power sources can be found within Ostown, meaning Mickey won’t have to travel far from home to locate them. However, it’s important to note that players will need to employ both Paint and Thinner to uncover their hidden positions. Here are the specific locations for each box:

  • The first can be found under Clarabelle’s garden. Her house is the closest to the exit back to Mean Street. To find it, simply use Thinner on the largest part of the lawn to unveil an underground room with a spiral ramp. Head down the ramp and use Mickey’s Paint to activate the power box.
  • The second can be found on the roof of the building where the safe was hanging. Use Thinner on the beam holding up the safe to release it (if you haven’t already), then use the safe to jump to the roof. You’ll find the second power box at the back of the roof.
  • The final power box is hidden behind the stone wall on the opposite side of the town to Clarabelle’s house, specifically behind Donald Duck’s sunken boat. Use Thinner on the patch of wall to reveal the hidden room, then use Paint to activate the final power box.

When all three power sources are functional, Mickey can complete the mission by returning to his home and having another chat with the phone. This time, the phone will give Mickey the missing wrench that belonged to the gremlin.
