As a dedicated Disney Lorcana player since its release last year, I am beyond excited to share my thoughts on the latest batch of Snow White-themed cards that Disney Lorcana has revealed from their upcoming Shimmering Skies set. Having followed the game’s progression closely, I can confidently say that these new additions are a welcome surprise for both long-time players and newcomers to the game.

Eight exclusive Disney Lorcana cards with a Snow White theme from Game Rant have been revealed for the Shimmering Skies set. These newly unveiled cards will join the Disney trading card game this summer.

Disney Lorcana, introduced by Ravensburger in August 2023 as their initial Trading Card Game, was followed by four additional releases. The most recent expansion, Shimmering Skies, made its debut in June 2024. Since then, Ravensburger has been progressively revealing the new set’s contents.

As an avid fan, I’m thrilled to share that Game Rant has obtained the exclusive reveal of eight new Shimmering Skies character cards inspired by Disney’s beloved tale, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Among these are eight Knights, with Snow White – Fair-Hearted, a Super Rare card, leading the charge. Illustrated by Aubrey Archer, this captivating card is designed to harmonize with other Knight cards in your deck, primarily due to its Natural Leader effect. This means that for every other Knight character present in the game, Snow White – Fair-Hearted gains one Resist point, amplifying their collective power and strengthening your strategy.

The Resist feature entered the game in November 2023, introduced through the Disney Lorcana Rise of the Floodborn expansion. With each Resist point, a character takes one less damage, potentially enhancing their durability when paired with compatible characters. Ravensburger implemented this mechanism by giving characters with Resist abilities average stats initially, making them barely effective on their own. To maximize their value, these characters must be strengthened once they’re in the game.

To put it simply, utilizing Snow White – Fair-Hearted to her full potential involves constructing a Knight-themed Disney Lorcana deck. Luckily, the seven dwarf cards set to be released with her have strong Knight connections, reducing the need for fortunate draws. Regardless of their sequence in play, these eight freshly introduced cards will complement each other effectively, creating a threat that is more formidable than the combination of its individual components.

Starting August 9, you can buy the latest Disney Lorcana collection at local game stores. But if you’d rather shop online, you’ll need to wait until August 23 to place an order for Shimmering Skies on the Disney Store or from authorized distributors.
