Disneyland Reveals Initial Details for 2025 Holiday Festivities

As a thrilled Disneyland fan, I can’t contain my excitement as Disney unveils the initial details about the Holiday Season at our beloved park this year! The air has been buzzing with fantastic news for guests like us, and there’s even more to anticipate in the coming months. 2025 holds a unique place in the hearts of Disneyland enthusiasts, and it seems Disney is pulling out all the stops to make it an unforgettable year for us all!

By mid-June, Disney had shared information on Halloween events at their parks, leading fans to anticipate announcements about holiday festivities in July or early August. Similar to Halloween, holiday celebrations are expected to coincide with the 70th anniversary celebrations, making for an extraordinary season for visitors.

As a movie buff excitedly counting down the days, I can’t help but share the news that Disney Parks Blog has revealed some magical Holiday celebrations happening from November 14, 2025, through January 7, 2026. During my visit to Disneyland, I’ll get the chance to warmly greet Mickey and Minnie dressed in their special Holiday attire, as well as experience the enchanting Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle. Over at California Adventure Park, the festivities will be just as vibrant with the return of both Disney Festival of Holidays and Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party, inspired by the lively holiday traditions from Latin America. The party will feature folklórico dancers, Brazilian samba rhythms, and a special appearance from Mickey, Minnie, and The Three Caballeros – Donald Duck, Panchito Pistoles, and José Carioca. It’s going to be an unforgettable celebration!

Disneyland Holidays 2025 Merchandise and Food

In keeping with tradition, Disney is set to introduce a unique collection of goods, edibles, and beverages specifically for the Holiday season this year. This merchandise can be found at Elias & Co., Emporium, World of Disney, along with other designated stores; additional locations will be announced later on. The Mickey Mouse Family Christmas Collection, which blends nostalgia, magic, and storytelling, is set to include clothing, accessories, home decor, souvenirs, and more. Moreover, the parks will offer holiday-themed exclusive food and drinks, although Disney has not yet disclosed the full scope of these items. However, they have confirmed that peppermint cold brew and Mickey-shaped gingerbread cookies will be returning to Disneyland this year.

Furthermore, visitors to the Downtown Disney District over the holidays can expect a touch of holiday magic with stunning decorations and live performances at the LIVE! Stage. Guests are invited to take part in Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail, where they’ll hunt for ornaments throughout the district using an activity map, which must be purchased. Seasonal treats and drinks will also be on offer at various spots. Lastly, those staying at the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa can participate in exclusive holiday events like Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast, Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party, Holiday Tea with Santa, while the Disneyland Hotel hosts Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays. However, reservations are required to attend these special events during the holidays.

Disney will likely still drop more information about the Holiday season in the coming weeks.
