The narrative game Dispatch has quickly become a hit, selling over a million copies in its first ten days. With a large cast of characters and a talented development team, it’s already shaping up to be one of the most successful games of 2025.

Dispatch, a new game released in late October, centers around a retired superhero who now manages a team of reformed villains, sending them on missions to help people in Los Angeles. Created by AdHoc Studios – a team made up of former developers from Telltale Games – it features a story where your choices matter, much like a ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ book. Last week, Dispatch quickly became the top-selling game on Steam, and now we know just how well it performed – the sales numbers are really impressive.

It would have been great to match the sales of a book that sold 80 million copies in just two days. While we didn’t reach that, selling one million copies in ten days is still a fantastic achievement.

AdHoc Studios announced on Twitter that their game, Dispatch, has already sold one million copies in just ten days. That’s a remarkable achievement considering only four of the game’s episodes are currently available, and especially impressive for a new studio like AdHoc.

It’s no surprise that Dispatch is becoming so popular. Starring Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad and featuring the storytelling style of Telltale Games, it quickly resonated with fans.
