I had no idea about it until the writer submitted their exceptional script, and… boom! What an impressive comeback!” Christopher Eccleston portrayed the Ninth Doctor in the series. There are rumors that Davies may be alluding to the lethal mannequins from the revival pilot episode “Rose.” These mannequins, known as Autons, were life-sized plastic dummies manipulated by the Nestene Consciousness, an extraterrestrial collective mind. He could equally be referring to the traps on Satellite Five.
