It’s an Energy Shotgun with two firing modes: a precise, focused beam and a wide spread of energy, perfect for quickly defeating enemies up close. You can only get the Dolabra by finding its blueprint while completing the Close Scrutiny ARC Operation.

This guide will show you how to find the Dolabra Energy Shotgun blueprint and stay safe while doing so. The map can be dangerous, with powerful ARC enemies like the Vaporizer constantly attacking, so we’ll cover how to minimize those risks. Let’s start by finding the blueprint’s location.

Dolabra Shotgun Blueprint Location in ARC Raiders

To get the Dolabra Shotgun in ARC Raiders, you’ll need to play a Close Scrutiny ARC Operation. These operations take place in different areas of the Rust Belt and change every hour. They’re available for one hour, just like other difficult map conditions. The blueprint for the shotgun is found inside ARC Assessor units, which spawn every 5 minutes during the operation.

To find the Assessor, players should scan the map for a red laser beam pointing upwards. Once found, players must clear out all enemies surrounding the Assessor to reach three access points. These points are loot containers at the ends of the Assessor’s arms. You can only reach them when platforms rise up beneath them.

Be careful of Vaporizers – they usually travel in pairs or small groups and can quickly defeat anyone who gets close. Bringing Wolfpack Grenades and a Hullcracker can help you take them down. Another option is to let another player draw their attention, then quickly grab the loot while they’re distracted. This is a dangerous strategy, but it can work.

The Dolabra is a powerful, rare weapon, so finding its crafting blueprint will be challenging. While searching for it, players can also collect Assessor Matrixes, which are needed to build the High-Gain Antenna and the new Canto SMG—both added in the Flashpoint update.

Players can build the Dolabra with 3 Shredder Gyros, 3 Magnetic Accelerators, and 2 Vaporizer Regulators. You’ll get Shredder Gyros by defeating Shredders, and Vaporizer Regulators by defeating Vaporizers.

Players can switch between firing modes by holding the aim button, which focuses the weapon for long-range shots. Without holding the aim button, the weapon fires a wide blast of energy that quickly destroys anything in front of it, even strong ARC plating. This makes the Dolabra a particularly effective choice for damaging Matriarchs and Queens when you’re positioned on their heads.
