Another reliable strategy is deploying the Evolved Goblin Cage. When the Lumberjack falls into the trap, it knocks him down and once the Goblin pops out, it draws the ghost away from Rage.
Instead of using Freeze as another effective defense, keep in mind it requires four elixir. If the ghost hasn’t approached your tower yet, you can thwart him with an affordable swarm card such as Goblins or Skeletons. Also, be aware that spells like Fireball, Arrows, and Lightning won’t harm the ghost, so avoid using them to counter him unnecessarily.
