The Russian player started the match with an impressive pistol round, immediately taking control and exciting the audience. He continued to play exceptionally well throughout the entire map, ultimately achieving his personal best performance at a CS2 Major tournament.

Man, my performance on Train was way better than anything I’ve done before! I actually beat my personal best, which I set way back at the Copenhagen Major in 2024 when I was playing Mirage against Imperial. I’m really happy with how it’s going!

Donk easily won a pistol round in Budapest, adding to his impressive record of wins at major tournaments. He previously stood out in Shanghai in 2024, achieving an incredible four aces in one tournament, including a remarkable 1v5 clutch.
Team Spirit defeated Team Liquid 13-8, advancing in the third stage of the Starladder Budapest Major.
