To preview mods for Doom Eternal, players using Steam need to enroll in a specific service. This can be done by right-clicking on Doom Eternal in your Steam Library, selecting Properties, then “Betas,” and choosing “pc-mod-preview.” The mods will be published via idStudio Beta, which is accessible through Steam as well. It’s important to note that only mods uploaded to this service will be playable in Doom Eternal; those not uploaded won’t appear in the game. Please take note that while idStudio Beta is confirmed for Steam, there’s no announcement yet regarding its availability on the Microsoft Store.
