This shipwreck, called the Demeniss Southern Cliff Shipwreck, is guarded by pirate catfish. You’ll need to defeat them before you can search for the axe. Here’s how to do it.
- Fast travel to the Steel Mountains Abyss Nexus, located south of the Spire of Insight.
- Head east through the mountains to the location marked on the map to reach the Demeniss Southern Cliff Shipwreck.
- After the coast is clear, look in front of the shipwreck to find some debris floating on the beach.
- The Double-Headed Axe of Greed will float up to the surface.
Defeat the Dancing Catfish Pirates occupying the shipwreck to clear the area of hostiles.
The Double-Headed Axe of Greed is floating in the water, hidden underneath the debris.
Pick up and throw away every lootable item in the water to clear the way.
Sometimes, the Double-Headed Axe of Greed can get lodged in the floor beneath the water, making it impossible to select. If this occurs, just load a previous save and attempt to obtain it again.
