In a recent turn of events, Dr Disrespect has removed the social media post where he confessed to the misconduct leading to his ban from Twitch in 2020. The deleted post contained allegations that he had sent inappropriate messages to a minor back in 2017.
Nobody knows why he has deleted this post, but everyone has a theory.
Dr Deletion
As a devoted admirer, I’ve found myself missing the regular streaming presence of Dr Disrespect ever since the revelation that he had interacted inappropriately with a minor on Twitch back in 2014. He initially informed us he was taking some time off to embark on an extended vacation, and since then, his social media activity has been limited to sharing enigmatic and thought-provoking images on X. I can’t wait for his return!
Ever since Dr Disrespect’s revelations became public knowledge, this charismatic yet controversial streamer has experienced a significant fallout. Most of his sponsorship deals have been terminated, and he was dismissed from Midnight Society, the studio he played a key role in establishing. Additionally, he suffered a massive loss of followers, with tens of thousands disappearing from his fan base within just a few days.
Although Dr Disrespect claims to accept accountability for his actions, he’s since removed the original post detailing his version of events on social media. However, given the widespread repetition of his statement across various platforms, it has minimal impact – he cannot elude the consequences of his actions.
