Saiyans are among the most powerful characters in Dragon Ball. Though many were prevented from reaching their full strength when Frieza destroyed their home planet, Vegeta, those who survived have become incredibly strong. Characters like Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta have consistently been dominant forces in the series, thanks to their immense potential and wide range of powerful attacks.
Throughout the main Dragon Ball story, the Saiyan characters have demonstrated incredibly powerful attacks. These techniques are strong enough to defeat even the most formidable enemies. Here’s a look at which Saiyan attacks are the most powerful.
Kefla — Gigantic Burst
While some fans have mixed feelings about the Saiyans from Universe 6, Kefla proved to be a very powerful competitor in the Tournament of Power. Although Kale and Caulifla are already skilled fighters, their combined power through the Potara fusion suggests that the Saiyans of Universe 6 are comparable in strength to those from Universe 7.
Kefla’s Gigantic Burst is an incredibly powerful attack that combines her Gigantic Blast with the Limit Break Blaster used by Caulifla and Kale. She focuses this energy into both hands, creating two huge energy discs. She then fires these at her opponent as a massive blast – strong enough to defeat most fighters in the Tournament of Power. However, since she was fighting Ultra Instinct Sign Goku, the attack’s true power wasn’t fully demonstrated.
Broly — Gigantic Catastrophe
Adding Broly to the official Dragon Ball storyline thrilled many fans and gave Goku and Vegeta a powerful new opponent to challenge them in future story arcs. This new version of Broly is similar to the one from the movies, but he’s significantly stronger – though still a bit unrefined – and has some incredible fighting techniques.
Broly’s Gigantic Catastrophe attack perfectly fits his wild, powerful style. When facing Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta, he rapidly combines his most devastating moves – Gigantic Roar, Gigantic Cluster, and Gigantic Full Blast. While this intense flurry of attacks would overwhelm most opponents, Gogeta effortlessly withstood it.
Vegeta — Full Charge Final Flash
As a huge Dragon Ball fan, I’m always thinking about the best moves, and Vegeta definitely has some of the most memorable! He’s never one to be overshadowed, especially by Goku, and he’s constantly debuting incredible techniques. But for me, his absolute strongest has to be the Full Charge Final Flash – it’s just devastating!
This attack is a more powerful version of Vegeta’s famous Final Flash, enhanced by his Super Saiyan Blue transformation. He used it against Jiren, a very strong opponent, and while Jiren withstood most of the blast, it did force him to move back.
Gohan — Special Beam Cannon (Beast)
Gohan, much like his dad, often learns and uses moves from other fighters instead of creating his own. He’s famously used Piccolo’s Masenko and the Kamehameha wave, but in the recent Super Hero arc, he adapted another one of Piccolo’s signature techniques.
Gohan’s Beast form significantly boosts the Special Beam Cannon, making it much like the one Piccolo used against Goku and Raditz, but far more powerful. While it still needs a little charging time, Gohan can fire it much faster than the original, creating a quicker and even more dangerous version of this iconic attack.
Goku — Supreme Kamehameha
While the Kamehameha wasn’t originally Goku’s invention, he’s used it so frequently and developed so many different forms of it that it’s become his signature move. Almost every major enemy Goku has defeated has been struck by a Kamehameha blast. As Goku’s power has grown, especially as he’s approached godlike strength, he’s created even more powerful versions of this incredibly famous anime attack.
When Goku achieves Perfected Ultra Instinct, his Kamehameha becomes incredibly powerful – his strongest yet. While it’s fundamentally similar to his other Kamehamehas, it packs a much bigger punch. Although it didn’t fully defeat Jiren, it did cause him serious damage.
Vegito — God Final Kamehameha
Fans often debate which fusion is stronger, Vegito or Gogeta, but both are exceptionally powerful and demonstrate some of the most devastating attacks in the series. Vegito, benefiting from the combined skills of both Goku and Vegeta, has showcased impressive abilities in his few appearances, with the God Final Kamehameha standing out as his most powerful technique.
I watched as Vegito began charging an incredible attack. It was a combination of two of the most powerful moves – the Final Flash and the Kamehameha. He seemed to be layering a ‘God Final Flash’ with the ‘God Kamehameha’, and the resulting energy blast was absolutely enormous – easily enough to defeat most anyone who stood against him.
Gogeta — Limit Ultra Kamehameha
Gogeta is potentially the most powerful mortal fighter in the Dragon Ball universe, and his attacks prove it. From the dazzling Stardust Breaker to the forceful Ultimate Impact and the incredibly strong Limit Ultra Kamehameha, Gogeta’s techniques are truly impressive.
This attack could be the most powerful a Saiyan has ever performed. We see Gogeta use it against Broly, and if Cheelai hadn’t wished him away at the last moment, the Limit Ultra Kamehameha would likely have destroyed Broly before he could master his immense power.
