In the quest for the Demon Realm Dragon Balls, Dragon Ball DAIMA is nearing its final stage. Goku and Vegeta have managed to defeat two of the three Tamagamis, yet they’ve been drawn into a grander scheme. As Supreme Demon King Gomah desperately guards the entrance to the First Demon World and summons reinforcements, events perfectly align for Dr. Arinsu during Episode 14, “Taboo”. Earth’s heroes have gathered many unexpected allies since Dragon Ball DAIMA started, but one is now poised for a treacherous betrayal.
In the second installment of Dragon Ball DAIMA, an enigmatic figure named Glorio appeared at a vantage point and extended an aid to Goku in reaching the Demon Realm. Although Supreme Kai harbors some doubts about certain aspects, Glorio remains undetected as he covertly liaises with Dr. Arinsu. With Majin Duu’s help, she has already obtained a One-Star Dragon Ball from the Demon Realm. As Goku and his companions eventually arrive at the First Demon World, they might find the gravest danger lurks closer than they think.
Dragon Ball DAIMA Nears First Demon World Showdown
In the final episode of Dragon Ball DAIMA, Panzy and Bulma managed to fix their ship, narrowly avoiding a menacing puppy on Planet Mega. As Glorio piloted them towards Warp-sama en route to the First Demon World, Panzy contacted Peral for an update about her father. Meanwhile, Bulma discovered King Kadan was attempting to steal an aircraft, so she proposed trading planes for some Majilite. The situation seemed peaceful at first, but Supreme Demon King Gomah was bracing himself for potential trouble.
Following the drastic action of deactivating Warp-sama, Gomah has additionally summoned his most distinguished band of warriors. Known as the Gendarmerie Force, they were indulging in some delicious treats when Gomah and Degesu appeared, causing the five startled fighters to immediately launch into a grand display, similar to the Ginyu Force. Dismissing rumors about confronting someone who defeated Majin Buu and the Tamagamis as mere exaggeration, the Gendarmerie Force are instead preoccupied with procuring extra snacks. Their excursion to the store results in a humorous, yet unremarkable, encounter with Majin Duu and Majin Kuu. Apart from briefly connecting over a mutual affection for chocolate, this meeting also hints at a possible future clash between Gomah and Arinsu’s top warriors.
Ignoring cautions about encountering an individual who overcame both Majin Buu and the Tamagamis as merely overblown tales, the Gendarmerie Force is instead preoccupied with procuring additional treats.
Upon reaching Warp-sama, Goku and his group find their plane disabled with electric barriers blocking passages linking the three Demon Worlds. Goku’s ingenious idea involves jabbing the barriers with his Power Pole, risking self-electrocution, but Neva steps in to prevent any danger. It turns out that Neva had set up these barriers years ago with the intention of fostering peace in the Second Demon World.
With a desire to cleanse the Demon Realm, Neva recites a spell (apparently in Namekian language) that dissolves the barriers and clears their path as Glorio leads them through the tunnel.
Concerned that the plane wouldn’t make it through the entrance into the First Demon World, they opted to fly the remaining distance. Supreme Kai, Goku, Piccolo, and Panzy exited the plane while Bulma realized she couldn’t fly. Vegeta carried her out before she asked Hybis to grab the Dragon Balls. This left Glorio and Hybis as the last to disembark, with Glorio offering to carry one of them. As soon as they landed from the sky, the police took notice. Gomah’s troops immediately opened fire and chased the group, marking the end of Dragon Ball DAIMA Episode 14, “Taboo”. With Glorio acting as a double agent, Dr. Arinsu was on the brink of success. If Glorio could use the commotion to escape with both Demon Realm Dragon Balls and somehow take Neva with him, it might be time to summon in the next episode of Dragon Ball DAIMA.
