Dragon Ball Finally Gives Vegeta Super Saiyan 3

As a lifelong fan of Dragon Ball and a connoisseur of Saiyan transformations, I must say that the recent developments in Vegeta’s journey have left me utterly astounded! For years, we’ve watched him evolve from a prideful, arrogant warrior to a loyal, self-sacrificing hero. And now, finally, he’s unlocked the elusive Super Saiyan 3 form!

I’ve seen many a Saiyan transform over the years, but Vegeta’s SS3 is something else entirely. It’s not just the power level boost – though that certainly doesn’t hurt – it’s the sheer determination and grit he displays in battle. This isn’t some half-hearted attempt at a new form; no, this is Vegeta giving it his all, pushing himself to the absolute limit.

And let’s not forget the little nod to the original series in Vegeta’s SS3 design. I mean, who else but an old-school Dragon Ball fan would notice that Toriyama stuck to the original draft for Vegeta’s transformation? It’s these little details that make me love this series even more!

Now, if only they could find a way to give Goku a new form without making him look like a walking CGI disaster… but hey, I guess we can’t have it all.

On a lighter note, I hear Vegeta’s going to be taking on some intergalactic baddies in the next episode. I wonder if he’ll need a bigger spaceship for this one? Maybe something with more than three seats! Haha! Can’t wait to see what other surprises they have in store for us, Dragon Ball fans. Keep it coming, Crunchyroll!

Summary

  • Vegeta finally achieves Super Saiyan 3 in Dragon Ball Daima, showcasing an unstoppable transformation.
  • Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 3 form differs slightly from the traditional appearance, with longer, spikier hair and no eyebrows.
  • Despite not unlocking Super Saiyan 3 earlier, Vegeta now stands on equal footing with Goku in terms of power.

The anime series “Dragon Ball Daima” has been keeping viewers on their toes with an engaging narrative, and it’s clear that the thrill of adventure is a major draw for fans. In true Dragon Ball fashion, the series has also been packed with electrifying battles, offering viewers some intriguing confrontations. Most notably, the battles in “Dragon Ball Daima” have often revolved around Goku and Vegeta, who are central figures in most of the conflicts that fans have witnessed.

At the moment, fans are well aware that much attention is being directed towards these particular characters, with Vegeta being the most recent figure to find himself at the heart of events. More crucially, in Dragon Ball Daima’s episode 12, fans were introduced to a fresh transformation for Vegeta, and this development left everyone stunned because it represents a form that Vegeta never assumed within the series – the Super Saiyan 3 form.

Vegeta’s Super Saiyan Transformations

  • Vegeta’s Super Saiyan Transformation Came In The Android Saga
  • Vegeta Never Unlocked Super Saiyan 3

Over time, Vegeta has undergone numerous transformations that fans have come to recognize him by. He’s one of the limited number of Super Saiyans to appear in the series since its beginning. Goku, the original Super Saiyan from Dragon Ball Z, obtained his form during the Namek Saga. Subsequently, Trunks, a future character, displayed his Super Saiyan form while battling Frieza on Earth. Following Trunks, it was Vegeta who became the next to attain this power, which he unveiled against Android 19, shocking the fans before the arrival of the Androids. From that point, he continued to enhance his power substantially. Throughout the series, Vegeta unlocked various levels of Super Saiyan, eventually reaching Super Saiyan 2 by the time of the Buu Saga.

I am Super Vegeta! – Vegeta

By now in the story, Vegeta was among the strongest characters, capable of facing off against Goku, though clearly second best because Goku had Super Saiyan 3’s power. To the surprise of fans, Vegeta didn’t activate Super Saiyan 3. However, he skipped that level altogether, as seen in Dragon Ball Super. Instead, Vegeta unveiled Super Saiyan Blue, and even demonstrated Super Saiyan God, a form many mocked him for not possessing earlier. In Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Vegeta exhibited the God transformation, and he later progressed further by obtaining Blue Evolution in both the anime and manga.

Even though Kakarot’s physical form might act independently sometimes, I am more associated with self-importance. Feel free to refer to it as Super Ego from now on – Vegeta.

As a long-time fan of the Dragon Ball series, I have watched Vegeta’s character evolve over the years with great interest. From his initial arrogance and jealousy towards Goku to his eventual transformation into Ultra Ego, Vegeta has truly come a long way. It’s clear that Vegeta is not lacking when it comes to powerful transformations, and his latest form is undoubtedly one of the strongest he’s had yet. In many ways, it serves as a direct response to Goku’s Ultra Instinct, making for an exciting and intense rivalry between the two characters.

However, despite Vegeta’s impressive abilities, there is one transformation that he has never been able to achieve: Super Saiyan 3. This form may not be essential in the grand scheme of things, but it’s still a significant part of Saiyan lore. The fact that Vegeta hasn’t mastered this form has led some fans to criticize him, despite his other impressive transformations.

Personally, I don’t think this should define Vegeta or his character. He is one of the strongest characters in the series and has shown time and again that he is a force to be reckoned with. Whether it’s mastering Ultra Ego or any future abilities he may unlock, Vegeta continues to push himself to new heights and proves time and again why he is one of the most beloved characters in the Dragon Ball franchise.

How Vegeta Failed To Unlock Super Saiyan 3

Vegeta Never Got The Time To Train For Super Saiyan 3

In simple terms, after the Cell Saga ended, Vegeta intensely trained his powers and reached an unprecedented level. However, unlike Goku, he did not manage to attain a higher form of Super Saiyan. During the Majin Buu Saga, Vegeta was unaware that Super Saiyan 3 was even possible.

To clarify, Goku didn’t use this particular power until his fight with Majin Buu, suggesting Vegeta hadn’t known about it before seeing it after his demise. It’s evident that Vegeta couldn’t attain this form independently, but that doesn’t make it a completely negative outcome.

Although Goku developed Super Saiyan 3, it’s important to note that this form isn’t perfect. It tends to deplete a lot of stamina and energy (Ki), making it ideal for brief bursts of strength or short-term conflicts. However, over the long haul, this form can be quite taxing and demands extensive training from its user to be employed effectively. Nevertheless, in the end, it’s a significant advantage that could have benefited Vegeta significantly had he mastered it. Vegeta first witnessed this transformation when Goku activated it against Buu, which sparked his interest in exploring this higher level of Super Saiyan potential within himself.

Indeed, fans are well aware that a significant gap in time occurred after the defeat of Buu, during which the storyline of Dragon Ball Daima unfolds. It’s clear that Vegeta has been tirelessly training since then, and he has now achieved Super Saiyan 3, as demonstrated in the most recent episode of Daima.

Vegeta Finally Unlocks Super Saiyan 3 in Dragon Ball Daima

Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 3 Is Unstoppable

In the most recent episode of Dragon Ball Daima, we witnessed Vegeta officially utilizing Super Saiyan 3. During his fight against Tamagami 2, Vegeta activated this powerful form, making him nearly invincible on the battlefield. Unlike what fans are accustomed to seeing with transformations like Gotenks’ and Goku’s, Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 3 doesn’t result in long hair extending to the hips. Instead, it seems that the writers have chosen to follow Akira Toriyama’s original concept of Super Saiyan 3, with Vegeta’s hair becoming longer and spikier, while also losing his eyebrows. However, these are the only significant changes.

In terms of power enhancement, Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 3 form matches that of any other user. During this phase, Vegeta was invincible, and most notably, fans were thrilled to witness him reaching a new height he didn’t disclose in the series “Dragon Ball Daima“.

As an onlooker, it’s evident that Vegeta, the character we know from “Dragon Ball Daima,” still possesses a multitude of hidden talents yet to be revealed to the audience. With each new chapter in this series, it seems almost guaranteed that we’ll witness him unleashing even more captivating abilities. Currently, it can be stated with confidence that Vegeta has matched Goku’s strength once more, and it won’t be long before he begins to surpass him again.
