Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Confirms GT Characters in New Trailer

As a dedicated Dragon Ball Z fan who’s been following this series since the original Budokai Tenkaichi games, I can’t help but feel like a kid at Christmas with Bandai Namco’s latest revelation! The inclusion of GT characters in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero has me over the moon.

At long last, Bandai Namco has officially announced a piece of news eagerly anticipated by Budokai Tenkaichi enthusiasts: The recently released trailer for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero showcases characters hailing from the GT (Grand Tour) series.

Many fans were worried that GT characters might get skipped for Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, even though they were available in the previous Budokai Tenkaichi games, as GT is considered non-canon. However, the latest trailer features action-packed scenes with some of the fan-favourite characters from this series.

In the latest trailer, the action begins with Goku (GT version) demonstrating his attacks and transitioning between Super Saiyan 1 and 3 during a confrontation against Baby Vegeta. Additionally, Pan makes her appearance in this segment. As the battle rages on, Baby Vegeta displays transformations such as Super Baby 1 and Super Baby 2.

In this ongoing fight, spectators witness Uub (GT) performing various moves and even undergoing the Majuub transformation. Subsequently, fan favorites from the GT saga make their appearance, including Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta. Additionally, Super Baby 2 demonstrated the power to transform into a Great Ape Baby within the battle. Finally, Goku employs his renowned x10 Kamehameha wave to vanquish him.

The concluding part of the latest Dragon Ball Sparking Zero trailer introduces us to the final villain of the GT series, Syn Shenron, who transforms into Omega Shenron. In addition, the last character displayed is a fusion of Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta, known as Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta. The presented characters in this trailer are all from the GT series; future trailers may include characters from the Super arc.
