Dragon Ball Sparking Zero: How To Defeat Fused Zamasu

As a seasoned Dragon Ball Z combatant with years of training under my belt, I can confidently guide you through the challenging encounters against Fused Zamasu and Goku Black.

As a devoted fan, if you’ve managed to overcome the challenges posed by Ape Vegeta up until now, it’s only natural to feel confident about conquering any battle in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero.

Sadly, for many gamers, their enthusiasm could be dampened by the formidable pair of Zamasu and Goku Black encountered during the Future Trunks storyline.

Additionally, the real challenge occurs when they combine to form Fused Zamasu, and if you find it difficult to defeat them, then you may find yourself in a prolonged battle.

With our carefully crafted strategy guide on hand, you should find it straightforward to defeat both Goku and Trunks in their specific saga episodes. Additionally, you might be able to unlock alternative endings or What-If scenarios during your playthrough.

In the Sparking Zero game, the majority of its technical aspects are focused on the multiplayer mode. However, Fused Zamasu remains an extremely challenging adversary during the battles in the Episode saga.

Exceptional abilities, such as “This is the Truth of Justice!”, can swiftly activate Sparking Mode in its fundamental form for Fused Zamasu.

As a dedicated player, I’ve come to know two formidable moves – the Holy Wrath and Blades of Judgment. These powerful blasts can deal a significant blow to my health bar if I fail to dodge or block them in time, making it crucial for me to stay vigilant during battles!

In his half-corrupted state, Zamasu’s rush combo speed slows down a bit compared to his original form, making it easier for players to perform Super Counterattacks and Vanish Strikes.

Additionally, apart from the fact that he acquires a powerful Rush Attack, there’s not much else you need to be aware of regarding him. I would highly recommend either blocking or evading this attack when it occurs.

When it comes time for you to confront this transformation, rest assured that you’ll have the powerful character, Super Vegito, on your side. Therefore, don’t fret excessively while battling this transformation during Goku’s saga.

How To Defeat Fused Zamasu In Goku’s Episode

During the “Into a Third Future” conflict, you’ll encounter Fused Zamasu. However, prior to that, there’s a skirmish involving three adversaries that you need to deal with first.

Initially, during the battle, it’s crucial to reduce the health of both Zamasu and Goku Black individually, so that they eventually fuse due to their diminished vitality.

In this intense fight, it’s all about hanging on long enough for the battle to conclude, or else I swiftly take down Fused Zamasu to achieve the alternative objective ending.

It’s strongly advised that you try the combat training sessions with Gohan and Piccolo. These sessions offer a comprehensive learning experience, covering fundamental skills like the Z-Burst Dash and numerous defensive techniques.

However, what’s the plan of action? This approach is universal across all character scenes, and it primarily involves being offensive, triggering Sparking Mode, charging towards opponents relentlessly with a barrage of rush combinations, and ultimately finishing them off.

It’s especially crucial to be familiar with executing different defensive techniques within the game, like Sonic Sways and Z-Counters.

Additionally, it would be beneficial if you master a technique allowing you to transport yourself behind opponents in the game Sparking Zero, which are called “Vanish” openings.

  • With both Zamasu and Goku Black, maintain a safe distance and charge your Ki to enter Sparking Mode.
  • While in Sparking Mode, you can unleash two sets of 20+ hit combos followed by a successful ultimate on the second rush combo as the icing on the cake.
  • If you happen to lock in without Sparking Mode, try using a step-in combo (5x Square, forward step, Triangle, 5x Square) or a short rush combo with a directional finisher.
  • Ideally, that’ll allow you to complete this battle smoothly unless you get locked in a never-ending barrage of Vanishes or Super Counters.
  • With Goku, remember that he has access to Instant Transmission, which is great for ambushing your foes into a rush combo, and Kaioken, which buffs your attack power.
  • In case Goku’s health is too low, remember that you can swap characters (Classic: L3 + R3, Modern: Left D-pad) with Vegeta when fighting Zamasu.

Successfully finishing the “Into a Third Future” battle will earn you 15,000 Zeni and Experience Points for your player.

How To Defeat Fused Zamasu In Trunks Episode

In the fights labeled “Saving the Future” and “Final Battle with Zamasu,” you’ll encounter Fused Zamasu, culminating in a climactic showdown against his Half-Corrupted form, accompanied by Trunks from the future.

If you manage to defeat Zamasu and Goku Black swiftly in the “Altered Timeline,” it will open up a different conclusion for Future Trunks, leading towards the Shining Hope Alternative Scenario.

In this case, the tactic we discussed earlier can be utilized here by maintaining a consistent distance, building up your energy reserve for Sparking Mode to launch a series of attacks, then continue the process.

To make it clearer, let me restate: It’s crucial for you to respond with your own Vanishes and Z-Counters when Zamasu uses them, as avoiding the AI’s reach isn’t always feasible.

It’s also important to know that there won’t be any additional characters to swap with when you’re in trouble or low on health.

In this battle, beware! If Fused Zamasu, particularly his Half-Corrupted form, unleashes any of his special attacks, it could deal significant damage to you. It’s crucial to avoid getting ensnared in these attacks as they leave minimal margin for error during the fight.

Luckily, Trunks boasts useful abilities, such as “Power Up to the Very Limit,” which instantly activates Sparking Mode for you, and “Explosive Wave,” a skill that assists in extricating oneself from tricky, cornered situations.

Instead of saving the three Skill Charges for later, consider utilizing them during the midpoint or closing stages of the fight, particularly when it’s crucial to swiftly defeat Fused Zamasu or his Half-Corrupted version by taking advantage of Sparking Mode’s unyielding rush attacks.

In these fights, the version of Trunks we see doesn’t possess the Final Hope Slash as his final move because he used it against Zamasu in the narrative. However, you can effectively utilize his renowned Dragon Ball Z Ultimate, the Shining Sword Attack, instead.

  • Completing the “Save the Future” will reward you with 15,000 Zeni and Player EXP.
  • Meanwhile, completing the “Final Battle with Zamasu” rewards you with 15,000 Zeni, Player EXP, and unlocks Tapion as a playable character.
