The release date for the Daima Character Pack 2 DLC in *Dragon Ball Sparking Zero* has been announced, revealing the new characters joining the fighting game. This is the fourth and final DLC pack included in the game’s Season Pass.
When *Dragon Ball Sparking Zero* launched in October 2024, it featured over 180 playable characters. While many were different iterations of the same characters throughout the *Dragon Ball* anime, this was still the largest character selection in the *Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi* series. With the release of the first three downloadable content packs adding 20 more fighters, the game now boasts a roster of over 200 characters.

A new trailer announced that the downloadable content will be released on September 24th. Players with early access will get to play starting September 21st at 3 PM Pacific Time / 6 PM Eastern Time. This second set of characters for *Dragon Ball Sparking Zero* includes six new additions, which is fewer than the eight characters in the first set. Fans can look forward to playing as Goku in his Super Saiyan 4 form with both his Mini and Daima versions, and Vegeta will also be playable in his powerful Super Saiyan 3 Daima form.
The game will feature two villains from the *Dragon Ball Daima* series: Third Eye Gomah and Giant Gomah. Players will also be able to play as the former Supreme Demon King. In addition to Daima’s main villain, fans can take control of Majin Duu, a unique character combining the childlike innocence of Majin Buu from *Dragon Ball Z* with a Saibaman. Though Duu initially opposed Goku and his friends, he later became an ally, making him a compelling character choice.
In addition to previously announced characters from *Dragon Ball Daima* and the *Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero* movie, a surprise addition in June brought Shallot, the main character from the mobile game *Dragon Ball Legends*, into the game. Spike Chunsoft and Bandai Namco haven’t announced plans for more character packs, so the six characters currently in development might be the last ones added to *Dragon Ball Sparking Zero*.
