Dragon Ball Sparking Zero will be receiving some new DLC in the near future.
Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is getting a big downloadable content update this summer! This release is part of the ongoing 40th anniversary celebration for the Dragon Ball franchise, and a new trailer showed off the addition of Super Android 17 as a playable character.
Along with the classic villain Piccolo, known as the ‘Great Demon King,’ Super Saiyan Bardock will soon be joining the Dragon Ball roster. Even more characters are planned for future releases.
Players can also look forward to new cosmetic items and ways to customize their skills. The trailer hints at a brand-new single-player mode, and we’ll be sharing more details in the months ahead.
There’s Also A New Dragon Ball Game Coming in 2027
The event also announced a new game, called “Age 1000,” with a short trailer. Development on the game started over five years ago, and Akira Toriyama, the creator of the series, contributed to its world and character designs. This is exciting news for fans, especially after Toriyama’s death in 2024, as it means there’s still more of his work to enjoy.
We’ll share more details about the new game during Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026 this April.
You can now buy Dragon Ball Sparking Zero on Xbox, PlayStation 5, Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
