Since he first appeared, Vegeta has transformed from a villain into one of the most powerful characters in the series and a key ally to Goku. Throughout the Z saga, he’s constantly striving to reach and exceed Goku’s increasing power.
Vegeta’s intense training has made him one of the strongest Saiyans, and he’s become known for his powerful attacks. In Super, he’s not only refined his signature moves, but also learned exciting new techniques to become even more formidable.
Forced Spirit Fission
Similar to Goku, Vegeta journeys to Planet Yardrat to master Spirit Control, ultimately learning Forced Spirit Fission. This ability proves crucial in the upcoming battle against Moro, which fans will soon see animated.
Vegeta’s Forced Spirit Fission allows him to control and break down energy, which is a powerful ability, particularly when fighting opponents like Moro who drain energy from others. While it hasn’t been showcased much in the manga yet, it’s likely Vegeta will use this technique more often in future storylines.
God Heat Flash
The Broly movie highlighted how much stronger Goku and Vegeta have become, while also showcasing Broly’s immense power and ability to quickly adjust during a fight. Both Saiyans fought with everything they had, and Vegeta, in particular, went all out.
When Vegeta transforms into his Super Saiyan God form, he can use the God Heat Flash, a more powerful version of his famous Big Bang Attack. Unlike the original, which is a ball of energy, the God Heat Flash is a concentrated beam. It almost defeated Broly, but surprisingly, it only made him stronger.
Final God Explosion
Vegeta’s Final Explosion against Buu is remembered as a high point for his character and a truly unforgettable moment in the anime – many fans still consider it one of the greatest episode endings ever. The move reappeared in Dragon Ball Super, but while it wasn’t as impactful or emotionally resonant, it was a more powerful display overall.
Vegeta’s Final God Explosion is a much stronger version of his original attack, powered by his Super Saiyan God SS Evolved transformation. It covers a large area like the original, but with significantly more energy and, crucially, without the life-threatening risk to Vegeta.
Furious Galick Gun
Vegeta’s most famous attack is the Galick Gun. He first used it during his legendary fight with Goku, where their beams collided. Later, in Super, Vegeta modified the technique and used it against an even more powerful enemy: Beerus.
After Beerus hit Bulma, Vegeta flew into a furious rage and unleashed a powerful attack called the Furious Galick Gun. This attack started with a series of close-combat strikes before finishing with a devastating blast at point-blank range. Though Beerus survived, the attack clearly surprised and bothered him, even if it didn’t cause serious damage.
Full Charge Final Flash
The Full Charge Final Flash is an enhanced version of Vegeta’s iconic Final Flash. Given how powerful the original Final Flash was in Z, that’s saying something!
When Vegeta transforms into Super Saiyan Blue, he gathers energy in his hands, just like with his regular attacks. However, his increased power allows him to create a much stronger, golden blast that can obliterate almost anyone it hits.
Hakai
Hakai is a powerful technique used by Gods of Destruction that can completely destroy an opponent. It’s very difficult to learn, but both Vegeta and Goku manage to master it after training with Whis and Beerus in Dragon Ball Super.
Vegeta learned to master the Hakai technique thanks to Beerus’ training. He can now concentrate his energy purely on destruction, and has demonstrated this ability effectively in the manga. Fans are eagerly anticipating seeing this powerful technique animated.
Sphere of Destruction
The Sphere of Destruction, also called the Beerus Ball, is a powerful technique Vegeta learns while training with Beerus. It seems Beerus is preparing Vegeta to potentially take over his role as a God of Destruction, and Vegeta is quickly mastering these new skills.
Vegeta’s new attack is a powerful energy blast, comparable to moves like Frieza’s Supernova or Kid Buu’s Planet Burst. He performs this technique while in his Ultra Ego form, and his energy turns purple during it. While he can still refine the attack, it’s already one of, if not the most, powerful moves in his arsenal.
