How To Open The Chest At Hubble Castle
Once players progress to the Hubble area in the past, they’ll be able to explore Hubble Castle, including walking along its walls and through its towers. Hidden inside one of these towers is a chest that requires a special method to open – regular magic keys or thief’s keys won’t work.
The man standing near the chest mentions ‘following the path of the cross.’ Given that the room is cross-shaped, the puzzle likely involves navigating through the doors in a specific order to open the chest. Here’s how to do it:
- Starting at the left door with the Statue next to it, players should move to the right side and cross the door.
- Next, go upwards and turn left, then, go down and cross the door.
- Continue straight to exit through the door with the man standing next to it, and the chest should open.
Players will be given a Glowing Holy Water Bottle, but the Wandmaker’s apprentice will immediately take it, saying he’ll give them a reward later when they visit him.
Once players finish the main story quest for Hubble, they’ll receive a special gift from the Wandmaker’s apprentice if they return for a visit. This gift is a powerful weapon that has a chance to cast two spells with a single use.
Inside the Conjuratorium, players will find a puzzle that’s very similar to one they’ve already solved. They need to repeat the same movements to unlock the way to the Vault, which holds all the magical items.
