Dungeons & Dragons recently unveiled a range of officially approved merchandise, such as a coloring book, crochet guide, two distinct journals, and the latest addition to the Young Adventurer’s series. Four out of these five Dungeons & Dragons books are slated for release in November 2025, perfect for the holiday season, while the Dungeons & Dragons Crochet: A Compendium of Various Patterns will be available in March 2026.
It’s no understatement that the game Dungeons and Dragons has experienced a significant surge in popularity over the past ten years, largely due to series like Critical Role and hit games such as Baldur’s Gate 3. This resurgence has not only fostered advancements within the tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) system but also inspired creative side projects, like Heroes’ Feast, the official Dungeons and Dragons cookbook.

Wizards of the Coast has partnered with Ten Speed Press and Clarkson Potter to produce additional official books for Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) enthusiasts. These books can be used both during and after their games. The latest addition to this series is a guide titled “The Warriors & Wizards Compendium: A Young Adventurer’s Guide,” designed to introduce children and young adults to D&D by offering kid-friendly advice on creating and playing characters within the TTRPG system. Furthermore, there’s a new coloring book called “Dragons of the Realms” that focuses on the famous dragon creatures from D&D. Lastly, “The Player’s Campaign Journal” and “The Dungeon Master’s Campaign Journal” are useful tools with prompts, indexes, and templates to help everyone at the table better document their adventures, whether they’re playing or running a D&D game.

Ultimately, the book titled “Dungeons and Dragons Crochet: A Book of Many Patterns” offers more than 20 unique crochet patterns for creating real-life replicas of famous items, creatures, and symbols from the tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG). Among the various patterns included are gloves designed to catch missiles, a bag with magical holding capabilities, granny squares embroidered with magical school symbols from Dungeons and Dragons, a d20 pillow, and adorable plush toys of an owlbear cub, mimic, gelatinous cube, beholder, Hand of Vecna, and Eye of Vecna. These are just some examples of the many patterns gamers can discover within this book.

The majority of these upcoming books, including “A Young Adventurer’s Guide” (releasing November 4), journals, coloring book (both releasing on November 18), and “A Book of Many Patterns” (available March 31, 2026), will be on sale at various bookstores.
In November, fans are in for a treat as two exciting sourcebooks, “The Forgotten Realms: Heroes of Faerun” and “Adventures in Faerun,” hit the shelves. To add to the excitement, September brought us the new “Heroes of the Borderland” starter set, October saw the release of the “Stranger Things: Welcome to the Hellfire Club” box set, and December will feature “Eberron: Forge of the Artificer.” All in all, the remainder of this year is shaping up to be just as thrilling!
