Dying Light 2’s Halloween Showdown Transforms Villedor

With the release of Dying Light: The Beast, the developers at Techland are turning their attention back to Dying Light 2: Stay Human. The game, which is constantly updated with new content, is celebrating Halloween with a special event called ‘Halloween Showdown’ that temporarily changes the gameplay experience.

Halloween Showdown challenges players to defeat spooky, special versions of the game’s enemies to collect candy. This candy can then be used to unlock unique rewards from different factions battling it out in the game.

Halloween Hits Stay Human

Techland just announced a Halloween event for Dying Light 2 called Halloween Showdown. It starts today and lasts until November 20th, giving players plenty of time to earn special rewards.

Here’s a segment from that release:

Villedor is all decked out for Halloween, bringing back spooky enemies like Pumpkintiles, Witches, Scaregoons, Virals, and Biters. The Tower Raid is also getting a Halloween makeover, with new decorations, redesigned levels, and intense fights on the rooftops. Players can unlock cool new characters – the Cursed Pirate and the CyberRaider (who’s available permanently in Tower Raid) – and a revamped reward system offers powerful Toxic and UV weapons, plus a new scoreboard for those who like to compete.

Techland is celebrating Halloween in Dying Light 2 with a new event and special community-created maps. Starting November 13th, players can complete extra challenges within these maps to earn unique rewards beyond what’s available in the main game.

The event also features special Halloween bundles, including one with a futuristic rifle designed to appear as if it can overcome gravity.
