1) Techland is currently trending on social media platforms to mark the 10th anniversary of their popular zombie game series, Dying Light. Launched in 2015, the original game was praised for its action-packed and intense zombie combat, establishing itself as one of the best games within the genre. This year, Techland released a sequel titled Dying Light 2: Stay Human, which continues to attract players as a live-service title.
In honor of the festivities, the Techland crew unveiled a video filled with statistics, one particularly enticing stat being that approximately 45 million individuals have traversed the Dying Light universe since its inception in 2015.

Through a shared announcement on various social platforms, Techland unveiled that over 45 million gamers have stepped into the world of Dying Light, spanning two different titles.
Together, they’ve clocked a staggering 1.1 billion hours playing Dying Light, slaying over 75 billion zombies – which is roughly equivalent to ‘9 times the global population’. As a devoted fan, I can’t help but marvel at how Dying Light’s combat system has made me feel like a true survivor in a world overrun by zombies. In the past ten years alone, I’ve proudly decapitated over 20.3 billion of these undead creatures!
