Dying Light: The Beast is packed with hidden secrets and valuable loot. Finding everything can be tricky – even experienced players might struggle with clues like those on the Treasure Map in D3. These Treasure Maps are needed to unlock the Cabinet of Curiosities achievement/trophy.
Don’t worry, this guide will show you exactly where to find the Treasure Map D3 in Castor Woods, and it will also reveal the combination to the safe in the abandoned attic. If you’re ready to claim some valuable loot, see the next section for the treasure’s location.
How To Find D3 Treasure Map in Dying Light The Beast
To find the Treasure Map D3 in *Dying Light: The Beast*, go to the Hardware Store, a location in the Dark Zone on the northeastern side of Old Town. If you can find the Railway Station, you’re close! Using binoculars from a high vantage point will make spotting the Dark Zone easier. Once you find it, head to that area to continue your search.
- Open the Main Menu.
- Next, open the Collections Tab.
- Scroll down to Treasure Hunts.
- Now find the D3 Treasure Map and open it.
The map suggests you can get to the blocked apartment building from the hardware store’s terrace and that it might contain valuable items, marked with ‘A’. However, this is misleading – there’s no actual path from the terrace to that building.
To reach this location, head to the roof of the Hardware Store. Turn to face the other side of the street and cross over. Then, find the building with a terrace, a couch, and a small opening. You’ll see a wooden plank blocking a doorway. Remove the plank and pick the lock to enter.
Once you’re inside, find the small kitchen and search for a safe. The safe’s combination is hidden in a note that references calling a specific number at 12:25:55, hinting that ‘it’s not SAFE.’ This means the combination is actually 12-25-55. Enter this code into the safe to open it.
Inside, you’ll discover a Military Medkit – essential for surviving tough fights with infected enemies and bosses – and 5 Legendary Regeneration Boosters. These boosters significantly speed up Kyle Crane’s healing process, providing continuous health recovery for 5 minutes. It’s best to save these for the most challenging battles later in the game, although you can also craft and upgrade them to Legendary quality using Poppy and other hard-to-find resources and Expert Manual Pages.
Remember to check all locations with Safes or valuable items like Legendary Weapons. These items reappear every two days, just like other points of interest.
