Dying Light: The Beast New Game Plus and Legend Levels Live Now

Techland recently released update 1.4 for Dying Light: The Beast, adding features like New Game+ and ‘Legend Levels,’ along with over 400 bug fixes and improvements. While it’s surprising to see so many issues in a game that was already so popular, Techland is committed to making it the best it can be.

The 1.4 update for Dying Light: The Beast will add more challenging difficulty settings, enhance the game’s realism, include ray tracing technology for improved graphics, and feature a special event with unique rewards and double experience points.

The Beast is Back

It’s been a couple of months since Dying Light: The Beast came out, and players are still actively exploring Castor Woods. Since launch, the developers at Techland have introduced the ‘Call of the Beast’ challenge circuit, which features new, community-focused events every week with rotating rewards.

With the 1.4 update, which is being released today on all platforms, players will get even more.

Techland has introduced the highly requested New Game+ mode, letting players replay the story of Kyle Crane while keeping all their previously unlocked items. Each time you start a new New Game+ run, the game will get more challenging.

Players can now continue leveling past level 15, unlocking what are called Legend Levels – a feature returning from previous Dying Light games. This provides a new goal for players to work towards after reaching the original level cap.

Techland announced a new update featuring 400 improvements and adjustments, primarily focused on making parkour and movement around the game world smoother and more enjoyable. They emphasized that this update was heavily influenced by what players had been saying, which is typical for Techland’s development process.

Ray tracing will make the lighting, shadows, and reflections in the newest Dying Light game look much more realistic, creating a more immersive and visually clear experience.
