Dying Light: The Beast is mainly a single-player experience, though it does have multiplayer. Despite this, Techland is planning a large amount of ongoing content, similar to what you’d find in games designed as live services.
The developers just announced the plan for Dying Light: The Beast, detailing 11 weeks of free new content coming to players.
The biggest new addition is New Game+, a feature players have requested since the game first launched.
Dying Light: The Beast New Game+ Confirmed Along With Higher Difficulty Level

It seems we should be expecting every week when it comes to new features.
Major Additons Confirmed
- New Game+
- Legend Levels
- Nightmare Difficulty
Added Features Also On The Way
- Ray Tracing (PC)
- New Weapon Executions
- PUBG Mobile Collaboration
- Visual & Quality of Life Improvements
The new features don’t have release dates, so it’s unclear when they’ll be available.
Starting today, October 16th, and running through October 23rd, we’re launching some new community events in addition to the features we’ve been working on.
Community Challenge: A Season to Dismember
- Goal #1: Cut off 30,000,000 limbs
- Reward: Lumberjack Car Skin
- Goal #2: Cut off 60,000,000 limbs
- Reward: Woodchopper Axe
There are 11 challenges remaining, and completing each one will earn a reward.
If you haven’t tried it yet, this game is a fully developed experience and not just a quick way to make money. It’s separate from the main Dying Light 2 story, bringing back the character Kyle Crane. Our review was very positive, highlighting that, like Crane’s return, the game itself is a return to what makes the series great. It’s not a direct sequel, but a significant addition with a darker, grittier atmosphere – a reminder of why fans enjoy the Dying Light universe.
If you’re having trouble, we’ve created a step-by-step guide to help you through the entire process. It’s designed to provide assistance if you get stuck at any point.
