Dying Light: The Beast Possibly Teased in New Gamescom Trailer

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must admit that the latest trailer from Gamescom has me intrigued. The cryptic nature and mysterious elements have sent the gaming community into a frenzy, and as a die-hard fan of Dying Light, I can’t help but speculate.

Today, I caught a glimpse of something intriguing on the official Gamescom channel’s latest trailer – it might have been a sneak peek at Dying Light: The Beast, hinted through some cryptic live-action clips.

In the beginning, the trailer presents a lively and vibrant atmosphere. However, as it progresses, it transitions into something darker, filled with shadows and bloodshed. The final scene carries a chilling warning: “Beware, the monster approaches.”

The trailer does not confirm anything, and Techland has not issued anything official yet either.

It’s worth noting that recent reports emerged as late as last week indicating Techland has registered a new trademark titled “Dying Light: The Beast.” Unfortunately, the details about the nature of this project remain unclear at this point.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m hyped about the latest cryptic trailer hinting at an upcoming unveiling! It looks like we’ll be getting the big reveal during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live. Mark your calendars for 11 AM Pacific Time/2 PM Eastern Time to catch this exclusive live event and see what surprises they have in store!

Enthusiasts swiftly pondered over the visuals and audio cues within the latest trailer, attempting to spot recurring aspects similar to those found in Dying Light.

Last week, the trademark for Dying Light: The Beast didn’t get approved just yet, so any presence at Gamescom might be relatively modest. But hey, it could still clarify whether the latest trailer ties in with Dying Light, and give us a sneak peek into what exciting content we gamers can look forward to.

In a new post on X, Geoff Keighley replied to a fan asking for a “real” trailer instead of live-action or CGI. Keighley teased that fans should “tune in then.”

More recently, in February 2022, Dying Light 2: Stay Human was released. Interestingly, even the first Dying Light experienced a significant increase in players last May, with a growth of more than 300% due to a major discount.
