FIFA 23, the last FIFA game by EA, will shut down its servers on October 30, 2025.
A few years ago, Electronic Arts and FIFA ended their partnership. As a result, Electronic Arts launched EA Sports FC as the new name for their soccer game series. EA Sports FC began after FIFA 23, which was the final FIFA game made by EA.
FIFA 23 Servers Are Shutting Down on October 30
The servers for FIFA 23 will be shutting down, as discovered by FGZ and confirmed on the EA Service Updates page. The update, found under the ‘F’ section, details that online services will no longer be available on any platform – including Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. While you can still play the game by yourself, all online features like co-op, Ultimate Team, and Pro Clubs will be unavailable.
The partnership between EA and FIFA is over, meaning no new EA FIFA games will be released. Players still have a short time to play the final EA FIFA game online before the next installment arrives. There’s speculation that 2K Games might be creating the next major FIFA video game, but EA has responded positively to this possibility, acknowledging the challenges of developing football games and welcoming the competition.
