However, the longevity of One Piece is remarkable – it has been the focus of Oda’s work for much of his life, which comes as a surprise to many fans. As we approach its 30th anniversary, it seems likely that One Piece will continue well beyond that milestone too.

Given the circumstances, it’s highly unlikely that Oda will start another manga. With age coming upon him and having put in a tremendous amount of effort on Jump, he certainly deserves some well-deserved rest.
