Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece Gets An Exciting Update For November 23

This article contains spoilers for the One Piece series.

The One Piece manga is still incredibly popular as the story moves forward with the Elbaf arc and approaches its final saga. Recently, the long-awaited God Valley Incident concluded, which many fans were eagerly anticipating. Now that this major event is over, the author, Oda, will focus on characters like Harald, Roger, and Loki. With the current arc gaining so much attention, Oda also seems to have a special surprise planned for readers.

I’m so hyped for the new One Piece chapter coming out on November 23rd! Not only are we getting chapter 1166, but Eiichiro Oda is doing a new Color Spread and designing the magazine cover too! He doesn’t do these all the time, so it’s always a real treat. Usually, he features the Straw Hats in the Color Spread and Luffy on the cover, but with everything happening at God Valley, I’m wondering if he might have something extra special planned this time around!

Eiichiro Oda Will Treat One Piece Fans With A New Color Spread And Magazine Cover

Good news for One Piece fans: the series is coming back from its break! It paused on November 16th, but a new episode will be released just one week later.

As many fans know, One Piece is coming back on November 23rd with chapter 1166! Everyone’s eager to see how the story wraps up the God Valley arc and where Oda takes things after the defeat of Rocks D. Xebec. Fans have really enjoyed the Elbaf arc so far, and Oda appreciates all the support. To show his gratitude, Oda is releasing a new color spread and a new Weekly Shonen Jump magazine cover with chapter 1166.

Oda’s New One Piece Colorspread Will Likely Feature The Straw Hat Pirates

I’ve been seeing a lot of One Piece fans speculate about what Eiichiro Oda will create for the colorspread and magazine cover accompanying Chapter 1166. While some are hoping for a glimpse of characters like Rocks or Roger, I don’t think we should anticipate anything too surprising. Oda generally sticks to his pattern of featuring the Straw Hats. My guess is we’ll likely see the Straw Hats on the colorspread again, and Luffy will be on the cover – especially since they’ve been separated for so long. It just seems most probable given his usual approach.

As long as my wife and child survive, I don’t care about much else. — Rocks D. Xebec on God Valley

While anything is possible, it’s speculated that Eiichiro Oda might reveal the colors of Rocks D. Xebec as the God Valley flashback nears its end in the next chapter. Fans are eager to see his color scheme, particularly following the debate surrounding the Holy Knights’ designs.

From now on, it’s all about the One Piece! I’m going to unravel every mystery this world holds, and it’s going to be a wild ride! Buckle up, and please, stick with me – you won’t want to miss what’s coming. – Eiichiro Oda, 2022

One Piece will have a break next week, and a new chapter (Chapter 1166) will be released on November 23, 2025. Fans can read it for free on Manga Plus.
