In Elden Ring, there are distinctive categories of weapons known as legendary ones. These weapons not only boast exceptional designs and abilities but also come with captivating backstories that aid players in unraveling the enigmatic storyline. The standard version of the game offers nine such legendary weapons, while the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC adds an additional four.
In the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, four legendary weapons are concealed in clandestine locations. Two of these weapons can only be obtained by solving intricate puzzles. For those determined enough to claim them all, this guide serves as an essential resource.
Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword
Shaped Like An Arrow, Deals AOE Magic Damage

The can be obtained from the furnace in the Ancient Ruins of Starfall Past. The ruins are located southwest of the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace. The legendary greatsword scales well with Strength and Dexterity.
In addition to its massive physical damage, this weapon boasts a special ability called “White Light Charge.” This feature not only inflicts significant magic damage but does so without the need for high Intelligence or Faith stats. Given that the weapon becomes available early in the game and can be enhanced up to +10, it serves as an essential tool throughout the DLC.
Sword Of Darkness

“There exists a renowned, unbending blade, which you can obtain by discovering the Stone Sheathed Sword at one of the three distinctive shrines in the Shadow Realm. You are able to locate these shrines in the following places: “
- Fog Rift Catacombs: In a secret chamber, accessible after stepping onto the three falling spiked traps.
- Ruins of Unte: Behind the temple blocked by an inactive Furnace Golem.
- Ancient Ruins of Rauh: On a tower, connected by an invisible walkway.
After obtaining the Stone Sheathed Sword in your item list, you can then proceed to the second altar to trigger its transformation into the Sword of Darkness. By using the sword’s distinct ability, the Tarnished character raises the weapon above their head, unleashing a spinning vortex of darkness that inflicts holy damage on nearby enemies, while simultaneously protecting the wielder from receiving holy damage.

The Stone Sheathed Sword also has legend surrounding it, which you can obtain similarly to the Sword of Darkness. After converting the Stone Sheathed Sword into the Sword of Darkness, you need to travel to the last standing altar in the Realm of Shadows and engage with it to change the Sword of Darkness into the Sword of Light.
As a seasoned adventurer and wielder of divine relics, I can tell you that there’s nothing quite like the feeling of holding a weapon imbued with the power of the Light. The way it hums with an almost palpable energy is enough to send shivers down my spine. And when the moment comes to unleash its radiant might, boy, oh boy, does it deliver!
In a single playthrough of Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, you can acquire either the Sword of Darkness or the Sword of Light. If you wish to possess both swords, you’ll be required to go through the DLC again from the beginning.
Euporia

According to folklore, the renowned Twinblades are hidden treasures of the Enir-Ilim. These elusive blades can be found in a hard-to-reach location that becomes accessible once you have achieved a significant milestone near the conclusion of the game.
The Euporia Twinblade inflicts holy damage, and as it hits enemies, the blades shine brightly, amplifying their holy damage. Its special ability, named Euporia Vortex, empowers the Tarnished to revolve the blades around them, generating a spinning shield that harms any adversary trying to assault.
You cannot charge Euporia’s blades when striking Those Who Live in Dead.
