Hey there, friends who are Tarnished and Nightfarers! Gather close as FromSoftware invites us once more into the mysterious and captivating realm of the Lands Between. However, this time around, it seems they’ve made the journey even more perilous, filled with stronger adversaries waiting to challenge us.
In simpler terms, “Elden Ring Nightreign” is the latest offering from FromSoftware, and it’s been receiving rave reviews all around. The game features an array of unique elements, such as a three-headed wolf that splits into three separate wolves, and even a spectral woman who can summon ghostly allies to aid you in battling bosses.
In Nightreign, you’ll find an array of awe-inspiring bosses and characters whose stories stand out among the best within the game (a special nod to Recluse). However, it’s not all smooth sailing as there are numerous bugs that can significantly disrupt your gaming experience. This article compiles every bug FromSoftware has addressed in the 1.01.2 patch of the game.
1 Bows got nerfed

In the most recent update for Elden Ring Nightreign, developers FromSoftware efficiently addressed a unique exploit that significantly favored ranged players. The issue was such that when a player chose to add an elemental enhancement, such as holy, magic, or lightning, to their bow, the game incorrectly boosted the bow’s physical strength in addition to the implemented elemental buff.
Not only did the enhancement in physical attack strength matter, but the added passive elemental boost transformed your bow into a formidable physical attack weapon. Fortunately, the glitch has been addressed, allowing archers to rely on their genuine physical attack prowess to vanquish bosses or resuscitate teammates once more.
2 Weapon skills will not inflict status effects unless it’s a direct hit

In a recent update, FromSoftware addressed an intricate yet significant glitch in their game mechanics. This issue caused certain weapon abilities to inflict attribute damage or conditions such as bleeding or frostbite even when the attacks were not direct hits. Although this bug made playing Nightreign more enjoyable, it significantly disrupted the game’s original balance, providing players with an unintended upper hand against bosses, creating an unfair advantage.
This bug correction guarantees that even though the weapon and its attributes remain powerful, the indirect impact of these items will function correctly, rather than merely wiping out Nightlords with status effects without fail.
3 You can finally find the “Projectile Damage Drop-Off Reduced” passive effect

To the growing collection of fixes for the game Nightreign, this update also tackled a bug that had been causing considerable annoyance among distant combat players. The elusive issue was the absence of the ‘Reduced Projectile Damage Drop-Off (Passive)’ effect, which was sorely missed by long-range players who prefer to fight using their arrows and bolts. Regrettably, this valuable passive effect was not appearing in the game’s inventory lists.
As a gamer, I’ve often found myself in situations where I’ve slain countless foes or unearthed numerous hidden treasures, only to realize that some of those sought-after items were mere illusions – they simply weren’t part of the game loot. This frustrating glitch has now been rectified, ensuring that we gamers can now lay our hands on that elusive passive effect without fearing its non-existence ever again.
4 The case of the vanishing merchant

Picture this: You’ve embarked on a mission in Limveld, searching for an NPC marked on your map, but despite numerous attempts, he remains elusive. You assume he’ll show up the next time you play, but alas, he never does. Turns out, there was a glitch in the system, and now, with the recent fix, the NPC should appear as intended during your future adventures.
In the Guardian’s Rememberance mission, one of the tasks required players to locate the mysterious Demon Merchant in Limveld. Unfortunately, some gamers encountered an issue where the merchant wouldn’t show up, no matter what they did. Initially, it was believed that his presence on the map was a rare event, but it turned out to be a bug causing him to be so evasive within the game.
It’s great news that FromSoftware has made sure the Demon Merchant always appears on the map when expected, so now you can progress smoothly in your adventure through Nightreign, without encountering any unexpected obstacles or hidden barriers along the way.
5 Libra is no longer spamming attacks

It’s great news that FromSoftware has managed to fix an issue with Libra, the Creature of the Night, who is a Nightlord in the game and encounters during the Equilibrious Beast expedition in Nightreign. Initially, there was a bug causing Libra to repeat the same attacks over and over, but thankfully, that has been resolved now.
While some players easily defeated Nightlord, others found it terrifying due to numerous attacks that gradually lowered their health. A glitch made defeating the boss too easy, ruining the challenge and fun. Fortunately, this bug has been addressed, so Libra now behaves as intended.
6 GPU killing Adel is not real in Nightreign

If you’d almost defeated Adel, Night Baron, only for him to suddenly strike at your weak spot (GPU), causing both your game and system to crash, remember you’re not alone. Many others have experienced the same problem. But fear not! FromSoftware has managed to squash that bug too.
It’s been discovered that under specific unknown conditions, during Adel’s intense boss fight, the game might become extremely unpredictable, causing it to freeze or even crash. This means that one wrong move from Adel could erase all your progress in an instant. However, this crucial update ensures that when you confront the Night Baron, the outcome will be determined by your skills alone and not by any technical glitches.
7 You can save your buddies from Wormface’s woes

In the game Nightreign, there was an insidious bug where, when a player was near death and got grabbed by one of those revolting Wormface creatures, even if their teammates made every effort to revive them, it would be impossible.
The malfunctioning bug significantly dampened the enjoyment of playing Nightreign as part of a cooperative team. However, luckily for us, FromSoftware recognized the issue and promptly provided a solution, meaning that collaboration within the game can now save you from being devoured by that vile monster.
