Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test Players Killed Nearly 60,000 Nightlords

Bandai Namco recently unveiled engaging facts about the latest “Elden Ring Nightreign” network trial, where fortunate participants caught a sneak peek of what the game will offer upon its release towards the end of this year.

On platform X, Bandai Namco recently disclosed their “Numbers from the Night,” revealing an astounding statistic: Over the course of the network test, players defeated the Nightlord’s nemesis, Gladius, Beast of Night boss, a staggering 58,615 times. This equates to a massive number of vanquished Nightlords!

In the game Nightreign, the spectral birds known as Spectral Hawks were invoked a total of 427,533 times during the network test. Furthermore, approximately 23.6 million recovery attacks were utilized to assist fallen players in resuming their gameplay.

In the game “Elden Ring Nightreign,” it’s been found that players have slain approximately 200,000 Golden Hippos (or Hippopotami), around 165,000 Flame Chariots, and slightly more than 150,000 Fire Monks.

Approximately 150,000 Hill-dwelling Dragons Fledglings and around 100,000 Noble Knights perished in the hands of skilled combatants. If you find Elden Ring Nightreign challenging, consider these figures as a source of encouragement.

Conversely, during the trial period for Nightreign’s network, a staggering number of approximately 38 billion runes were collectively lost by players. It’s quite intriguing to contemplate that perhaps as many as 37 billion of these losses could have been suffered by a single, incredibly unfortunate player.

If you haven’t heard about Elden Ring Nightreign yet, it’s a new action RPG set in the same universe as the highly successful open-world Soulslike game Elden Ring, developed by FromSoftware and Bandai Namco. This is the first significant spinoff that FromSoftware has created for one of its games.

In Nightreign, the main gameplay involves you (and two other players, although playing alone is also an option) dropping onto a map where you scavenge for loot, fight the bosses to earn experience points, and gradually build up your strength to confront the Nightlord at the end of a three-day timeline.

In this game, you can expect not only adversaries from Elden Ring, but also enemies that appeared in the Dark Souls series by FromSoftware. This includes iconic foes such as the Centipede Demon from the first game, Freja, the Dear Freja from Dark Souls 2, and The Nameless King from Dark Souls 3.

Elden Ring: Nightreign is set to debut on May 30th across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. In February, I managed to join the network test, and you can find my thoughts about it in this post.
