In the realm of video games, FromSoftware’s latest release, Elden Ring Nightreign, is thriving. So far, it has shipped over five million copies globally. This cooperative Souls-like action RPG debuted on May 30th and managed to surpass 3.5 million physical shipments and digital downloads within a week.
For gamers on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC, the exciting new game titled “Nightreign” is a spin-off of the 2022 blockbuster hit “Elden Ring“. In this story, players become part of the Nightfarers guild, where they are sent to Limveld to confront the Nightlords and push back the advancing darkness. There are eight distinct Nightfarers to pick from, each with special abilities and roles, but all weapons and magic are accessible, limited only by your character’s level.
After its initial release, FromSoftware has been updating Elden Ring Nightreign with new elements such as the Everdark Sovereigns, which are advanced versions of the Nightlords.
