In Elden Ring, players have an opportunity to undertake the ‘Revenant Remembrance’ mission known as ‘Nightreign’, which offers exclusive prizes and provides insight into the game’s lore.
In Elden Ring: Nightreign, the Nightfarers are an integral aspect. Players will journey through the game and confront its bosses with assistance from these pre-defined character classes known as Nightfarers. One such preset character is the Revenant, who plays a supportive role in battles. Despite this, it’s important to note that the Revenant remains significant and has depth to offer.
If you’d like to delve deeper into this specific class, here’s a way you can do it: To gather more information, follow the Revenant’s Remembrance questline within Elden Ring: Nightreign. Each character in Nightreign offers these quests, which shed light on their past events. In this guide, we’ll take you step-by-step through all of the Revenant Remembrance quests available in Nightreign.
How To Complete the Revenant Remembrance Quests in Elden Ring Nightreign
In the immersive world of Elden Ring Nightreign, as a gamer, my first step to embark on the Revenant’s Remembrance quests is to delve into the enigmatic Journal. This intriguing artifact can be found on the left side of the Roundtable Hold, near the Lost Table of Grace. The pages within this journal are filled with stories and memories that shed light on every Nightfarer in the game, offering a unique perspective as I journey through this fantastic realm.
To delve deeper into the enigmatic world of Revenant, I must gather Memory Fragments by successfully completing Expeditions. Accumulating enough of these fragments will grant me access to the Revenant’s Remembrance quests, which can be initiated via the Journal. This elusive wanderer presents three such quests for me to unravel his past.
First Revenant Remembrance
Instead of starting off with manageable tasks, as is the case for subordinates in the Realm of Memory, the Revenant must face and defeat a Nightlord during their initial quest. Once you’ve initiated the Revenant’s first journey in the Realm of Remembrance, follow these steps:
- Speak to the Duchess and exhaust all her dialogues.
- Find the Guardian. Talk to him twice to unlock the “Speak of your request” option, and then choose it. It will unlock the Defeat the Tricephalos or the Darkdrift Knight in Limveld objective.
- After defeating any of the Nightlords mentioned, you will get the Blade of Night Fragment.
- Return to Guardian. Talk to him and give him the Blade of Night Fragment.
- Complete the Remembrance.
After successfully finishing the first “Remembrance” of The Revenant in Elden Ring’s Nightreign, you will acquire the Small Makeup Brush. This artifact will boost The Revenant’s strength during combat and also enhance her team of three summonable spirits. Furthermore, it improves your own Rune gains as well as those of your party members.
Second Revenant Remembrance
Instead of the initial quest, Revenant’s second Rememberance leads you to a manor. Unlike the first, this Rememberance offers a bit more insight into the Nightfarer. After initiating it, follow these steps:
1. Go to the specified location (the manor).
2. Investigate the area for any clues or information about the Nightfarer.
3. Complete any tasks or puzzles as necessary.
4. Follow the storyline and interact with characters as they appear.
5. Gather all relevant items, if any, to aid in your quest.
6. Once you’ve gathered enough information, confront the Nightfarer if possible.
7. Solve the final challenge or puzzle to complete the quest.
- Talk to the Duchess and choose the “Ask about the Night’s corrosion” dialogue option.
- Find the Recluse in the Garden. Sit on the bench and speak to her.
- After teleporting to the new location, walk down the hall and enter the open room.
- Then, the Corrosion’s health bar will appear. It is a group of enemies that explodes if you get too close to them, and it damages the health of the boss.
- Strike the enemies or make them self-destruct till the boss’s health hits zero
- Interact with the sitting doll that resembles the Revenant.
- Talk to the Recluse again at the Garden.
- Complete the Remembrance.
After completing the second commemoration of the Revenant, you’ll earn the Revenant’s Chalice as your prize. This artifact allows you to utilize three relics of different colors: green, blue, and one of any tier you select.
Third Revenant Remembrance
In the third installment of the Revenant’s Rememberances, you’ll uncover the dramatic events that unfolded on that storm-tossed night. The conclusion to this Nightfarer’s tale doesn’t offer much joy or contentment. To delve deeper after beginning the final Rememberance, follow these steps:
1. Start with the last Rememberance.
2. Proceed as instructed.
3. Uncover the truth of that fateful night.
- Speak to the Recluse in the Garden.
- Sit on the bench next to her. You will be transported to the Manor.
- Keep moving forward until you enter the open room.
- Move forward till you meet the Contaminant.
- Defeat the Grafted Scion boss to trigger a cutscene.
- It will show you a glimpse of the Revenant’s memories.
- After that ends, you will find yourself back in the garden.
- Speak to the Recluse one last time. Accept the Bury the Nightlord option.
- Complete the Remembrance.
Once you finish the final Remembrance of The Revenant in Elden Ring’s Nightreign, you’ll gain access to a unique skin for The Revenant’s Remembrance. Furthermore, you’ll also acquire the Old Portrait Relic. When equipped, this relic provides numerous benefits such as:
1. Enhanced attack power.
2. Increased defense capabilities.
3. Improved agility and speed.
4. Boosted magic abilities.
5. Overall stats upgrades.
- Revenant expends her own HP to fully heal nearby party members when activating Art.
- Revenant triggers a ghostflame explosion during Ultimate Art.
- Defeating enemies will fill more of the Art gauge.
